Answer:	I’m not sure what you mean about a seam but there is no seam on the cup, if that’s what you’re asking. I actually have my cup right now and tried about 10 different srart8ng points for screwing the lid on and it always adds up the same way, handle on the right side of drinking hole. I have a leftie kid and my hubby epoxied handles on cups for her many times..otherwise, I can’t seem to find a way to make this a left handed cup. Sorry. It’s really a nice mug.

Answer:	I clip it to my luggage, pilot here. Sometimes throw in my pack with coffee still in it. If the seal is clean, no issues at all. The only time I have had leak issues is if the seal between lid and mug isn't clean. Simply cleaning this surface insures a tight leak free experience. You can test this by simply turning the mug over a sink, if no leaks, you should have no problems through the day! I have owned several since 2012 or before and plan to buy more. I need to stop leaving them in the airport shuttles!

Using Your New Travel Mug

Heat check. Careful! Your freshly brewed coffee might be very hot. Let it cool down with the lid off for a few minutes before attaching the lid and heading out the door, and keep the hot coffee out of the reach of children (kids shouldn't drink coffee anyway).

Do's and don'ts. We don't recommend carrying filled travel mugs in your bag while on-the-go (it's safer for your cell phone this way). Also, keep your travel mug out of the microwave and the freezer.

Clean up. Contigo travel mug lids and any unpainted stainless steel bodies are top-rack dishwasher safe for a quick, easy clean. Painted stainless steel bodies are hand wash only. Visit our official website for more care and use information.
