Answer:	The rack is made of iron. We do not recommend it to get wet for long periods of time as iron may rust (although we have not seen any signs of rust in dry settings). If you dry it off after it accidentally gets wet, it should not be an issue. Make sure the ball feet are not touching water (or dry them extra well) if the rack is used on a countertop.
