Answer:	I took another look at the sets available for sale and I see that buying a set is a much better deal. The 6 piece set is $15.95; while the 3 cup by itself is $12.71 and the 6 cup is $6.29 and the 11 cup is 8.19. I don't know how to explain this other than they must come from different distributors. If I were to make this purchase again, I'd buy one of the sets.

Answer:	Great big red box above says these are oven safe. The Pyrex description calls them bakeware and says they can be used in the oven. The glass not the plastic. The plastic lid says right on it "Do not use in oven." The lid also says it is microwave safe.

Answer:	I would say the sides are higher than a standard frying pan, about 4" high ,and reminds me of a cast iron pan, its heavy and thick.

Answer:	I did not receive bonus containers. I ordered the 12-piece set.

Answer:	I have washed mine in the dishwasher before and so far no harm, but I do think washing by hand will extend the life of the product and that’s what I’m going to try to do.
