Answer:	I can't say yes for sure. But I think so. I kept my bread out in the open on the counter (not in the Fridge). I got this to clear off my kitchen counters. It certainly looks nicer and holds a couple of loaves and bagels as well. Works well for my situation. Hopes this helps.

Question:	With the lid rolled open, how tall is the opening height? I need 6.5 inches for my purpose
Answer:	If I understand your question, when you roll open the box (the lid is now pushed back like a garage door), will you have 6.5 inches to store items? I believe the heighth size is 7.5 inches closed, therefore, open means more space because it is now open allowing items that are taller to fit because it is open. Sorry if I don't understand, I have this & as long as your items are not taller than 7.5 inches, you will be able to fit them INSIDE & be able to close it (like a car in a garage).

Question:	Do I need to assemble or it will come with as single piece ready to use
Answer:	It isn’t too hard to put together but it’s not as easy as some other folks have implied. I recommend trying to put all the pieces together without adding any screws first (things should fit perfectly together). I did this and realized that the instructions are incorrect! Piece B needed to be at a different angle than the instructions suggested (good thing I didn’t fasten it yet). Once I understood that problem it was just adding screws to put it together (some of the wood was a little warped so I had to bend it). All the pieces fit together well after that, though
Question:	can this be stained? or would i have to sand it first
Answer:	It arrives sealed (meaning the wood has been treated with a sealer), and the actual roll top part of it has the bamboo adhered onto a breathable fabric to create the roll top itself which should not be disassembled, and probably should not be due to the damage it would create. IMO, it would be a hassle to stain.
