I recommend trying to put all the pieces together without adding any screws first (things should fit perfectly together). I did this and realized that the instructions are incorrect! Piece B needed to be at a different angle than the instructions suggested (good thing I didn’t fasten it yet). Once I understood that problem it was just adding screws to put it together (some of the wood was a little warped so I had to bend it). All the pieces fit together well after that, though

Answer:	It arrives sealed (meaning the wood has been treated with a sealer), and the actual roll top part of it has the bamboo adhered onto a breathable fabric to create the roll top itself which should not be disassembled, and probably should not be due to the damage it would create. IMO, it would be a hassle to stain.

If you take the bread out of its wrapper you can get individual slices into the container. Not what I was looking for. I don’t want to come home put on gloves take bread out if it’s original wrap and then put slices in 5 pieces at a time. Rgis container would have been great if they would have simply added about 2” more in length and circumference 👎

Answer:	I would think that if you made sure the lid was on, this box would protect your bread products from mice. There are no gaps in the metal, the lid is bamboo so, not overly heavy but it gives a nice seal. If the mice are extra industrious, then maybe a heavy object on the lid for extra precautions, but that would be the only thing I would be concerned about.
Question:	Does the back have a smooth surface with no seams? I would like to face this out backwards without the letters
Answer:	Yes, it has a smooth, seamless, all-white back side. The seam is wrapped around the corner so you really can't even see it. You could easily turn it around and show the plain side & it would still look great!

Answer:	This bread box is white. The letters are 2 inches in height.

Answer:	It seals pretty good. I don’t have a roach problem, but I do have a rodent problem ( rats) and since I have gotten this my bread has kept nicely without any unwanted “guests” eating my bread. And I can hold a lot of baked goods in the one box. At one point I had 2 loaves of bread, a pack of sandwich buns, cookies, and tortillas. It’s definitely worth purchasing.

Answer:	Yes, it does! In fact that is the main reason I bought this bread box. I live in an old farmhouse, and no matter what I do mice end up getting in. They'd figured out how to get into my former bread box which had a heavy metal door closed with a magnetic latch. I don't know how they did it, but they got it open. So far they haven't been able to defeat this bread box. The sides are too high and flat, and if they figure out how to lift the lid straight up I'm going to give up, move out, and let them have the house!
