It fits in one of my kitchen sinks and then folds up and fits on a pantry shelf, out of sight, when not in use. I hope it works for you. I'm quite happy with mine.

Answer:	Hi, ELS,It does a little bit of both. I have had this for a few months now and am really pleased with the design and material. The metal feet in the rear of the tray do a good job of giving the rack a nice angle for draining. The spout is not tremendously big, but it does a good job of draining the water. However, as with all dish racks, not every drop of water will always drain into the sink. The instructions for the rack suggest cleaning the tray once a month to ensure a long life for the product. All in all, this is convenient, effective, and well worth the money in my opinion. Best of luck.

Answer:	I do not see why not. Everything can be washed if it needs to be. It is good to brush the outside to clean it each week.

Answer:	I wear a size 6 and they fit me perfectly with a little room to spare. I would go with the 71/2.

Answer:	Not the greatest, but fine for slippers.

Answer:	They come in a normal shoe box. So I think a gift bag might be better . To be honest, these were very expensive for slippers, I hated them and threw them away after one season. I didn't even want to donate them they became so yucky.

Answer:	The drainer is up off the counter over an inch in height but the spout that drains from the bottom has to slope toward the sink and that clears a quarter inch or maybe 3/8 inch at the lip of the sink.

Answer:	Mine does not leak. Drainage flows out the adjustable drain spout into the sink. It's the black plastic model with stainless trim. There are two trays that fit together, with a separate cutlery container that sets in. I suppose it might leak if not assembled correctly but mine assembles and adjusts easily.
Question:	Is the 17.2 the length where the drain lip is? I dont understand why most the drain boards seem to have drain lip on side
