Answer:	I used two bags for large sand filter.

Answer:	I be used for 2 years. Filters very well. But does not backwash hardly like sand does. I bought filter socks that you put on skimmer basket and rinse daily. Using these together is better than sand. I do recommend this. I also, at end of summer, remove balls, rinse with water hose, wash in washer and once dry, store for the winter. Before using the filter socks the blls became full of algae. Had to be removed and washed. Once using the filter socks took care of that problem amd pool is great shape. Reduced how much chlorine I needed as well.

Answer:	No. Depending on the type of siding that you have it is fairly simple to install. If you can remove the old one then you can install the back piece from the inside with proper length screws. Caulk opening from exterior and twist on face piece also on the exterior.

Answer:	You need to install the base from the inside. The flange is much bigger than the hole you need to make. If you wanted to you could just mount it on the outside but the base will show outside the vent area.
