The screw is a 3/4 inch flathead screw.

Answer:	I love my Cuisinart dual sandwich maker. I don't think it works on 220 volts. You would need an adapter to convert.

Answer:	I put the uncut sandwich on the grill. But after using it several times, I got rid of it. When using cheese, even though spraying with Pam before using, it was very difficult to clean because the grill plates can't be removed. For me. it just didn't do what I was hoping it would do. Answer:	This unit (GR-150) DOES have waffle plates available. It is the Elite digital that does not.
Question:	Does this squish hamburgers, steaks where all are dry
Answer:	Not at all. There is an adjustable leg that makes it very easy to set the distance between the two sides as you wish. It will not squish at all. We love it. Steaks are perfect.
Question:	what is different from the other one which is less expensive
Answer:	The difference between the Griddler Elite and Griddler Deluxe is that the Griddler Elite has a digital temperature display for each plate, top and bottom. The Griddler Deluxe has NO digital temperature display. Instead, the knobs have temperature indicator markings and a light to tell when the plate has reached the desired temperature. Otherwise, both function identically. It's just a matter of whether the digital display is worth $40 more to you.

Question:	Does the Elite come with any utensils and drip pan
Answer:	Can you buy a waffle plate accessory that fits the Cuisinart GR-300WS?
Question:	One review says heating elements are inside the plates. It's not mentioned anywhere in the description. Is this true? Are the plates hollow or solid
Answer:	The heating elements are built into the plates. And they are heavy (weight wise) too. I'd also say they are solid for good thermal conduction as air is not as good conduction of heat as is a solid internal surface would be. Each is labeled as to which side it is. I hand wash mine when necessary. They are very easy to clean with just a damp wet cloth with out any soap. Just make sure you have waited until they have totally cooled. I give them at least 45 min. Even thought the manual says 30 min.
Question:	Does it come with the waffle plates
Answer:	If you are asking about the GR-3000WS, no this does not have waffle plates.I believe the reason for this is the heating elements are in the plates themselves. Its what makes this model vastly superior to the other models.
Question:	Are the removable plates dishwasher safe
Answer:	My first thought, this is a nice appliance and replacement plates are expensive but may not be available indefinitely so take care of them. You can dishwasher them but why, scrape the plates with the provided scrapper, then wipe with paper towels. Dishwasher soap is caustic stuff and will shorten the life of none stainless steel parts. Instead of the dishwasher put these plates in sink with hot soapy water and before long what ever was on the plates can easily be washed off with a blue "Scotch Bright" brand scrubby--never use the green one.

Answer:	The only difference is the look of the outer case. Do you prefer the classic look, with the "classic" Mickey and a stainless steel finish? Or do you prefer the pop of red and a more modern looking Mickey? Otherwise, the baking plates and size are exactly the same.

Answer:	I'd say they were about 3/4 inch thick. They are really cute. I had a cater to use ours and he said it did better than his professional grade one.

Answer:	It depends on how much batter you put on it and which type of batter you use but it does cover the entire waffle iron plate, 6 “ or so

Answer:	I'm not a 100% sure, but PFOA is used to make no stick coating surfaces and it does say there is a nonstick coating. The majority is burned off in the process and it is not present in significant amounts in the final products.

Answer:	No , 110v , plugs into wall outlets , same as coffee makers , toasters, lamps .....
Question:	i see alot of the reviews discuss the plastic casing breaking does that effect the operation of the unit, or you can still use it
Answer:	Mine broke after light use (2-3 batches of waffles a year)- the first time (after 3 years) I was able to epoxy the pedestal, the next time unit was not repairable. There is a plastic piece that holds the metal axle which broke. I had the double waffle maker -- the single would probably last a lot longer. The double iron is very heavy -- too heavy for the plastic pedestal and internal parts.
