After going on line and reading about rust in irons, it is most likely caused by a buildup of minerals inside the steam vents from using tap water. I tried cleaning with vinegar and water but stuff is still coming out of it so am replacing it.

Answer:	1.100 watts is like a blow torch but of course an iron isn't going to get that hot. All I know is, I love this iron. Plenty of steam because of the multiple holes. Even Irons and steams heavy jeans, no problem. I found that it needs 2 of the cup fulls of distilled water to form steam. I'm using distilled water, not taking any chances using faucet water and clogging it up.

Answer:	It's one big waffle that has baked perforations you can pull apart into 4 smaller waffles, if you have kids with small appetites or a dieter. Cooked excellent on #4 setting which made them a perfect golden brown. Look at the video directly underneath the item's picture. It is the last dot to the right. Click on it and play the short instructional video. Amazon is good about that. This item was top pick from Comsumer Reports. That is why I bought it and because it is the model a lot of hotels use in their complimentary breakfast room. Very durable. I also like the drop pan for spills. Make sure to follow the video and you will not have it running over. It makes a perfect no mess waffle as long as you use the cup that comes with it and quick guide and follow the directions on the waffle batter mix you use and do not over whip/mix. Only mix by hand also. I only needed to read over the quick guide once and read in 30 seconds. Real easy peasy. 😊
Question:	Our new waffle maker will only make lame blonde waffles. No crispy crust. We put it on setting six out of six. Are we doing something wrong
Answer:	I use diastatic malt powder in my batter to make really crunchy but soft inside waffles and also don't spray or butter the waffle maker

Answer:	There is a purpose to flip the waffle even if you are only making one waffle. Pour batter on hot iron, close the iron and then flip. The rotation (flip) of the waffle iron causes the uncooked batter to disperse on the hot iron and cook evenly on the other side.
