Answer:	Yes, if both sides of the bowl maker are oiled or sparyed with cooking spray and the potatoes are very dry...roll in a towel and twist. Line the bottom and up the sides of the bowl with potatoes, close and bake...time will vary based on potato variety. Frozen shredded potatoes are not recommended.

I've already made bowls using Pillsbury canned biscuits (flatten first), biscuit mix, tortilla bowls, etc. I would just be experiment how much you put in and cook times. Answer:	We use a moist paper towel without any soap. If the surface is clean without food particles the heat when you fire it up will kill all the bacteria. Any oil residue can be removed with a moist towel as well. You do not want to use soap as this will clean all the oil and this could cause the next waffle bowl to stick and that is not good.

Answer:	I don't know. Red light comes on while preheating. Blue light comes on when it has reached temp to cook. I'd let it reheat for a little longer before I start cooking. Blue light goes off. Blue light comes back on when waffle is done to your set setting. Hope this helped. I like my waffles crisp so I have mine set on almost 7. Play with what number you want it to be at. Thicker waffle batter turns out better than thin batter.

Question:	Is it easy to remove the grills for cleaning
Answer:	ceramic grill plates do not remove, but still very easy to clean. clean it when it is HOT ! a simple wipe with wet cloth will do the trick. Being very easy to clean is one of it's best atributes ! if you under-cook your waffle and try to remove it early, you will have issues as with any other waffle maker . Look for steam as an indicator of doneness,when the steam subsides (around 6-7 minutes) your waffle is done. flip the unit at least twice during cooking for great, even results.

Answer:	It depends on how much batter you put on it and which type of batter you use but it does cover the entire waffle iron plate, 6 “ or so
Question:	are the plates pfoa free
Answer:	I'm not a 100% sure, but PFOA is used to make no stick coating surfaces and it does say there is a nonstick coating. The majority is burned off in the process and it is not present in significant amounts in the final products.
Question:	Is power supply 220v
Answer:	No , 110v , plugs into wall outlets , same as coffee makers , toasters, lamps .....
Question:	i see alot of the reviews discuss the plastic casing breaking does that effect the operation of the unit, or you can still use it
Answer:	Mine broke after light use (2-3 batches of waffles a year)- the first time (after 3 years) I was able to epoxy the pedestal, the next time unit was not repairable. There is a plastic piece that holds the metal axle which broke. I had the double waffle maker -- the single would probably last a lot longer. The double iron is very heavy -- too heavy for the plastic pedestal and internal parts.
