Answer:	Mine certainly didn't, it smells like regular brand new clean plastic. Mine had no smell otherwise.

Answer:	The bag is resealable and won't rip when opening the closure, however it won't be quite as sticky when resealing a 2nd time. You will want to use clear packing tape to reinforce the seal if you reuse it.

Answer:	The diameter of the mounting feet cover is 3 inches. The overall length is 26 3/4" end of foot cover to end of foot cover.

Answer:	We just installed these last weekend, put 2 into tiled shower. Used drill bit that specified ok with tile and used caulk around screw plate under cover to keep waterproof. Special drill bit meant tiles didn't crack. Also used stud-finder to mount on studs for added security plus used inset anchors in tile walls to ensure no pull-out when grasped. Took somewhat longer than anticipated to install but when done, not worried about them coming loose or causing safety issues.
Question:	Could the liquid be sucked out from the bag? Will it go inside the machine through this pipe
Answer:	I bought the 18 inch grab bar but from the top tip of the bracket to the bottom end of the bracket the length is 21 inches.

If you own a FreshSaver FoodSaver hand held model, the blue bags are preferred.

Answer:	I use them for sous vide all the time. Never a problem with leakage. Since the valve is near the top of the bag, it's rarely necessary to submerge it. Sealing the zipper part is important to get the air out. I sometimes find the bag pulling air back in, and it's always because the zipper wasn't sealed 100%.

Answer:	We have both units, one @ home which is the more expensive 110 volt one & the less expensive portable rechargeable battery one for the RV and they both work good but notice the 110 volt seems to seal faster. Time will tell which one is better $ vise as it has been a little over a month for both.

Question:	Can you seal with fm
Answer:	I've used it both ways with a newer and higher end model of the foodsaver vacuum machine. If I'm vacuuming something other than food I usually use the roll and make my own bag. For food I use the pre-made bags like these because as others have stated they do work better. If you are using the roll I recommend sealing the end that you're not vacuum packing several times a fraction of an inch away from the previous seal, similar to how the pre-cut bags are sealed. They hold better that way.
Question:	Can these bags be vacuum sealed
Answer:	There is no difference in the bags. It is just the packaging that makes them appear different.
Question:	Can these be used with a manual hand pump
Answer:	I purchased quart size bags. The box reads "Quart Size (950 ml). It doesn't show anywhere on the box the thickness of the bag unless that is the (950 ml).
Question:	can they go in freezer
Answer:	The height of the bag is 11.5", but the end is sealed so you need to keep that in mind. The bag is 7.5 ". I freeze boneless chicken breast and a good size meal fits in the bag.
