Question:	I received my tea maker today and the indicator light won't turn on, but the base gets hot, anyone else have this issue
Answer:	It probably works. The light on mine does work, but it's gotta be in a dark corner for me to see it on. In any case, unplug it after it's done working, after 10-12 minutes or so. To better steep tea in this device, bend two jumbo paper clips so they lie flat in the tea bucket but stick down through the little hole 1/2 inch or so. This enables hot water to back up in the tea bucket, and tea bags actually steep. Otherwise, the hole is too large so the hot water runs out quickly, wetting the tea bags but not really steeping them. With this "hack", she's a great tea-maker that takes up minimal counter space.

Answer:	I am not sure how much liquid it holds. However, I would not recommend using this particular mold for this. You might be better off using a flat nugget ice tray with a lid.

How to disassemble and assemble • Remove the trays one by one, by pulling at the bottom of the tray's edge until the tray detach from the frame at the bottom. • Hereafter gently pull each side of the tray's edge individually to detach the tray completely. • Avoid pulling the tray too hard from one end only, as this might damage the tray's edge. • Snap the tray back on by placing the tray on to the frame and press firmly all the way around the edge of the tray to ensure that it is correctly attached. • If ICEBREAKER® POP leaks water from other places than the lid, the trays needs to be snapped back on correctly to the frame to be leakproof.

Answer:	Unfortunately, I let 1 of my employees order this for our kitchen sonI have no clue where you can order a trim kit. We order a lot of par tee s & whatnot from Grainger & Johnstone Supply. Hopefully that will help.
Question:	Can the be installed with cabinets on either side and against a wall with a counter top over it in a built-in style
Answer:	The ID-0452A is 30" Wide. I think the B-500PF is the same size, so it should fit. Most current 30" ice machines and bins are interchangeable, regardless of the brand, but you may possibly need a trim kit, depending on how old the bin is. Hope this helps.
Question:	Does the drain pump the water out, or is it a gravity drain
Answer:	I would follow the specs on this, the recessed niche idea I imagine you are looking to do, should work provided that the proper ventilation and drainage are adhered to.
Question:	Can this unit be keep on a covered porch
Answer:	Yes, it requires both a water line and a drain.

• Plug in the Ice Machine and the ON/OFF symbol will flash in the display window.
• Press the “ON/OFF” button on the control panel. The Ice Machine will start to make ice cubes when the water reaches the standard level on the water tank through the electromagnetic water valve. The symbol will change to a solid light and the Ice cube symbol will start rotating.

Adjusting Ice Thickness

• To adjust the ice thickness, press the “+” or “-” button on the control panel.
• The number at the bottom left of the display shows the time setting of the ice making with the default “0”.
• Press the “+” button once to add one minute at a time, and the ice cubes will be thicker. Press the “-” button once to reduce one minute at a time, and the ice cubes will be thinner.

NOTE: The adjustment only affects the next and subsequent ice making cycles.

Question:	The ice spheres are very clear except for the bottom of the spheres which are a little cloudy or streaky. Is there any advice you can give me
Answer:	HI - You will see a vertical line on the back of the plastic container. You will fill the water to the top of the line.

Answer:	The warm water freezes slowly allowing air to escape upwards and any impurities to fall to the bottom. distilled water not required. works great
Question:	How does it become clear? Don’t you need to agitate or have distilled water
Answer:	This thing is HUGE!!! It's an entire box almost about 1' square, not your typical "ice tray". In a typical freezer it takes up a lot of freezer space just for 2 ice spheres that take 24-30 hours to freeze.
Question:	How big is the overall unit? I'm thinking about how much freezer space it will use
Answer:	I store the clear ice (top 4 cubes) in one bag and the cloudy (bottom 4 cubes) in another. They stay clear at least 30 days.

Answer:	Do a search on Amazon for small rubber stoppers. They come in a variety of sizes, and they offer assortments of varying sizes, as well.

Answer:	It doesn’t freeze because it isn’t a freezer

Answer:	It makes three sizes of round "cubes" The ice is soft so it is great for chewing on. My granddaughter keeps a glass of ice by her just for this purpose.

Answer:	?? This supposed “Elite” model and company only offers a year warranty? Every other model I have looked at has offered a 2yr warranty & they were what I would consider to be in a slightly “lesser” category! I thought I’d check out the top end... Top end should be willing to warranty their product for at least as long as it’s lesser competitors, frankly ~ I expect more! & this is a HUGE RED FLAG in and of itself!! Makes me very nervous to purchase any products from them... what a shame. I was looking at their new Clear Ice model as well & hadn’t gotten to the warranty yet... yuck!

This S900A Shaved Ice Machine by Hawaiian Shaved is the perfect home-use appliance to make shaved ice, snow cones, snowballs, slushies, margaritas, and much more. This shave ice maker is fun and easy to use. With its 3-piece design, you can assemble the machine in a matter of seconds. It comes with two ice molds to freeze ice, a non-slip mat, an instruction manual, and a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.

To use, fill the round ice molds with water and let them freeze overnight to produce small, round blocks of ice. Next, allow the ice thaw for 5-7 minutes before shaving. When the ice is thawed and easy to remove from the mold, place it into the ice crusher cup. Then, place the motor unit in position and gently press down on the motor assembly to shave a mound of soft fluffy snow.

When the ice production completes, there will be a thin layer of the ice block in the ice crusher cup – this is to prevent the ice-gripper plate from making contact with the blade. To remove the leftover ice, turn the unit upside-down and allow the remaining ice to fall, or allow the ice to melt out. Answer:	Not sure..however,we ran it on a small generator with no problem

Answer:	It comes with 2 plastic cups that I have used to create large ice cubes and the worked great. I have also used the large ice cubes made in the silicon molds
Question:	Approximately how many cones does each "block" of ice make
Answer:	It will make about 2 1/2 small ones and very small ones but perfect size for 5 and under. There is about 1/4 of an inch of ice that the machine can't shave at the end for whatever reason. So you will have a thin piece at the end that you will not be able to use.
Question:	Does this shaved ice machine create the fine, soft shaved ice similar to what you get in Hawaii, or is it more like the chips in snow cones
Answer:	I had this and sent it back, to me it wasnt ljke what you get in Hawaii at all. Even though it did shave the ice pretty fine there was always small chunks that made every bite crunchy. If you don't mind it being somewhat crunchy you will probably like it. If you want it like you get in Hawaii you'll have to do what I did and get a machine the the ones they use over there. I bought a fujiyama, expensive but awsome.
