Answer:	I believe this pan is made of cast aluminum with a nonstick coating. It makes "silver dollar" pancakes. I love using this pan to make my grandma's swedish pancakes. It reminds me of the one she used to have.
Question:	Will this heat to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
Answer:	I use a second large fry pan that I spray with spam. After a few minute of medium heat, when the pancakes are bubbly and have formed, I flip the pan over into the second pan and they cook in a few minutes on low heat. Then I fill up the first pan again with more batter. Provides a more consistent texture to the pancakes and cooks it through.

Answer:	i use it for eggs all the time. brush a little oil on the pan to keep it from sticking. Extra large eggs may over run the indentures a little. I use a fork and keep the eggs from running together when they first start cooking.. I also use a fork to flip the eggs.

Answer:	My Swedish grandmother taught us to run a butter knife around the edge of each pancake, slip it under and flip. All the kids were using this method at a young age, the trick is not to flip too early!

1. Sift together first four ingredients (to prevent lumps).
2. In a separate bowl, mix egg and milk, then add it flour mix, stirring until just smooth. Then stir in butter. (If you want to mix it up, throw in blueberries, a tiny dice of apple, or bits of banana.)

1. Allow the pancake maker to preheat.
2. Spray the surface of the pancake maker with a small amount of non-stick spray.
3. Pour batter into the pancake maker. Cook with the pancake maker open for about 3 minutes, or until the edges begin to dry.

Question:	Is there any overheating protection? Will this isiler pancake maker cycle on and off
Answer:	Lefse are similar to crepes it is a Norwegian traditional potato flatbread similar to a thick crepe I have not done it the only items you add is the potatoes. I believe you would not have any problem by making them. I used mine and it was great. I also made the Spanish Galician crepes and they were great.

Answer:	After I use mine I prop it up on it's back and let it drain while it's hot. After a few uses it's never failed to drip oil out the back bottom on the napkin so that shows oil gets into the bottom somehow. Thru the hinge area I would guess as you can see wires inside if you look from the back of the hinge which means it is open to the inside. I worry about the top not heating as that's one of the complaint's I'm starting to hear. .

Answer:	First, I need to know if you are referring to regular waffles or the trending chaffles. I will answer both waffles and chaffles. Waffle batter needs to have oil added to the batter. This allows the batter to crisp on the outside. Also, they need to cook for3 to 4 minutes. Cook too long and they will burn. For chaffles the oil is in the cheese. I simply use 1 egg, beaten well, then add 1/2 cup of cheese. Again mix well. Using 1/4 cup mix put into preheated waffle iron. Cook until light goes off. Chaffle should be lightly crisp. Enjoy! Remember, Chaffles are not made with waffle batter, they don't get as crisp as waffles. You might try putting a bit of cheese on the waffle iron, then put the egg cheese mixture, the a bit more cheese...then bake. These will be crisper because of the additional cheese. If you use a pancake mix, just add oil and bake in the waffle iron. Hope this helps!
