| Answer: | I ended up buying a cheapie popcorn maker here in NZ,(NZD$20) and yes, I guess as a safety precaution a thermal trip/switch operates after about 3-4 mins, let it cool, and continue on until you're happy with the roast....prolly best to do it outside/not near a smoke detector, lots of smoke,and it smells similar to burnt toast |

| Answer: | There are two variations of the popper - the clear platinum silicone is more expensive to manufacture than the red silicone, so that popper is priced more. When the lightning deal discount was applied to the clear popper, it was still more expensive than the red popper's current regular sale price. About Amish Country Popcorn
In 1965 in the "Amish Country" community of Berne, Indiana, Roy Lehman planted a small plot of popcorn for his six year old son, Brian.
Brian then began supplying his family with popcorn. He remembers carrying popcorn to school, and his sixth grade teacher was one of his most loyal customers.
When he finished high school, he wanted to stay on the family farm and continue to grow and sell popcorn.
Fifty years later, Brian is still in the popcorn business. The people who know Brian would tell you that he is known for the following two things: serving the Lord and selling popcorn.
