Answer:	My mw is 1100 watts, pops great in about 2 1/2 mins!

Answer:	It pops around 1/3 of a cup, which is around 5.3 Tablespoons. For comparison, a large/standard bag of microwave popcorn is around 4 Tablespoons. Answer:	I've found that using oil makes a big difference. More kernels pop thoroughly. I fill the container to the second line and add 1.5 tablespoons of Canola oil. I make sure to stir the oil around so every kernel gets wet. Then I place the Hot Pop in the microwave for 2min35sec. Once done, I slowly transfer the popcorn to a larger salad bowl a portion at a time. While doing the transfer, I add a pinch of course sea salt to each transfer until the transfer is complete. I've had my Hot Pop for 6 months and eat popcorn everyday! No damages to the container yet. This is the best tasting popcorn I've ever eaten! I've completely stopped buying bags of corn chips (usually $4-$5/ bag). I just buy bags of whole kernel popcorn. Orville Redenbacher seems to pop the best for me, but they all work great. Question:	How many watts has to be your microwave
Answer:	I wish I read this review before I purchased this popper! I put just one lid full of brand new popcorn (It was Black Jewel and doesn't expire till 2022) in and about two TSP of butter in the silicone lid. It started popping immediately but luckily I was standing by the microwave watching it when the microwave sparked. I stopped it, pulled out the popper and inspected it. I noticed that the square cardboard (waveguide cover) had a small burnt spot on it. Thinking that the microwave was suddenly going bad, I put a cup of water in the microwave to see if the problem would duplicate, but it was fine! So I restarted it again with the popper and within about 10 seconds it was sparking like mad and I thought I saw a flame. I immediately stopped it again and now the waveguide cover has a huge burnt spot on it. I have no idea why this is happening but the popper will have to be returned.

Answer:	The measurements of the bowl is 9 3/4 both width and length,The height is about 5 1/2 tall.Hope this helps,it is a big bowl so you will need a large microwave mine is a large counter top model and it does fit but it is a tight.Also be careful when using this bowl it gets real hot and microvaving popcorn in it is challenge because of this and things can burn fast.It does heat up soups and casseroles real fast and sauces do not stain the bowl even when they are burned in it.Just be real careful when you handle after items have cooked in it because you can burn yourself real easily so my advice and what I do it let it sit for a couple minutes in the micrave after is done and then pull it out carefully.I hope all this advice has helped.

Answer:	I've been using this popper for about 4 yrs. I never add oil. I pour melted butter over finished product. I sometimes heat bowl 1st on high..30 secs. My old apt had an old micro and that worked well. Now I have a new micro...just 1/3 c corn...my favorite is Trader Joe's Organic. 3mins and I listen to popping slowing down and usually done by 2:30 ish. There's always some kernals... but not much!

Answer:	Yes. My microwave began making a deep and loud buzzing sound 30 seconds into cooking. I immediately got up to check things out and could also see orange sparks coming from the sides of the microwave. Thankfully, I acted quickly by turning the microwave off and the microwave is fine. I’ve used this popper many times before without problems. The kernels were expired by about 7 months so maybe that’s why. Other stuff I put in my microwave is not sparking, so I do think it’s this popcorn maker.

Tips to getting your popcorn just right:

1. Not all microwaves work exactly the same, so play with the timing until you get it just right. Experiment a little- your microwave may cook the popcorn faster or slower than the 2:30-3:00 average! If your precious popcorn is getting burnt when adding butter prior to popping, try adding the butter after all those kernels have transformed into beautiful puffed popcorn.
2. Always use fresh popcorn kernels. Store your popcorn in an airtight container. Refrigeration is not recommended.
3. Stopping and starting your microwave during the cooking cycle is not recommended. Once you stop the microwave, the steam buildup in the center of the kernel, which causes the popcorn to pop, will cool off and never reach the desired temperature to re-pop. If you restart the microwave you also risk burning the already popped popcorn. Using the sound test is the best way to determine if your popcorn is done. If there are more than two full seconds between pops, it’s time to stop.

Is it Bpa free

Answer:

It can depending on the size of your baby at birth. Mine was a bit smaller at 5 oz 14 oz. I put him in the N (newborn) one and those fit better. After a couple weeks he moved onto the size 1. I find that generally he needs to change about 2 lbs before the upper limit of the range but every baby is different. In my experience, boys tend to fit pamper swaddlers better and girls seem to fit Huggies better. He had both and in the end we decided to stay with pampers.
