Tips to getting your popcorn just right:

1. Not all microwaves work exactly the same, so play with the timing until you get it just right. Experiment a little- your microwave may cook the popcorn faster or slower than the 2:30-3:00 average! 2. Always use fresh popcorn kernels. Store your popcorn in an airtight container. Refrigeration is not recommended.
3. Stopping and starting your microwave during the cooking cycle is not recommended. Once you stop the microwave, the steam buildup in the center of the kernel, which causes the popcorn to pop, will cool off and never reach the desired temperature to re-pop. If you restart the microwave you also risk burning the already popped popcorn. Using the sound test is the best way to determine if your popcorn is done. If there are more than two full seconds between pops, it’s time to stop.

Question:	Does the top fit tight? Read for the popcorn to be crisp that the steam needed to release, appears to be a heavier made popper wondering about that
Answer:	This is a great add for my 2018, ie “2020” Mac mini but mine is not the M1. Based on my research I would think it could but double check the Thunderbolt connection. I recently bought an external HD that would not work on my 2018 model because the drive used a USB-C 3.1 and I guess mine are 3.0. I got it to work using the normal USB but that wasn’t my goal. You may experience the same here. You’re basically trading a Thunderbolt port to add 2 USB and media card slots. I’d try it and return if it doesn’t or check the manufacturer’s website

Answer:	We had though about it, but the stand hub may get too warm beneath the MacMini with the drive, would probably require an internal fan, and the additive of a drive and the port hubs would require the use of two USB-C ports on the back.  If we can test and perfect it to where we are happy, you never know what may come in the future. Only takes a few minutes so if you need a lot just keep popping! I use this everyday. I spray the popcorn while it’s hot and sprinkle on powdered seasoning also sold by Amazon. Hope this helps.
