How to operate the wine bottle opener

1. Take back the lever into the open position.

2. Firmly grip the bottle neck with the handles until the black pins protrude from the metal axis.

3. While keeping the handles tightened in this position, bring the lever cover until it is in the closed position, then it will submerged in the cork completely.

4. Slowly take the lever back until it is in the open position. Old corks which are more fragile should be pulled out very slowly.

5. Remove the bottle from the wine opener by loosening your grip on the handles.

6. To release the cork, first bring the lever over to the closed position. Grasp the cork with the handles and swing the lever into the open position.

Question:	Broken cork inside the chamber that will not come out. Does the unit come apart or can the internal plastic insert be removed
Answer:	If I am understanding the question it sounds like you have used the opener to take a cork out of the bottle and now the cork is inside the opener. If this is the case just use the down arrow position on the black control a dot will bring the cork out of the opener. If you are asking how to remove the metal cover from the bottle itself, there is a clear plastic cutter that comes with the opener. Hope this helps! It’s a good opener!
Question:	How do you know when yhis is fully charged
Answer:	I have used the manual version of this type (called Screwpull, which is no longer anailable), where the screw goes all the way through the cork, for at least 15 years and have had absolutely no problem with the occasional bit of cork in the wine. That happens about one in 10 corks. That's one reason why the appropriate way to pour is to give yourself a small pour first, before serving your guests, so the cork goes into your glass where you can dispose of it. So, this should not be a problem.
