Answer:	First of all this the best wine opener I’ve ever had!!! When you use this unit you extracting all the air and then sealing with the special cap. I drink a glass a day of red wine because it is good for your health. I would say you probably would get a month tops!! Air us what turns the wine and an unopened bottle will 3 years. Hope this helps

Answer:	This item does not have replacement batteries. You can purchase a new a/c adaptor plug from store that sells electronics' Wine Enthusiast does not carry parts for this item however.
Question:	After charging, can I unplug the whole unit and move it out of the way since the opener wobbles on the base
Answer:	Yes, you can. Mine wobbles a bit also, so I unplug it and store the base sometimes and just keep the opener in my bar area. I have also placed the unit on the charger with the corkscrew in different positions and it seems to wobble or blink less often when charging.
Question:	The blue light doesn't stay lite? not stable in the base. previous one i owned had the charger directly into the opener
Answer:	Ours is a couple of years old but the blue light is only lit when operating which I assume saves the battery. Ours is stable in its base but frankly because of the height of the cabinet we generally have it out of the base unless we need to charge it. I would also think the separate charger would make the opener lighter and easier to use. We continue to be very happy with ours. JB

Answer:	Nope. I received this as a gift. It worked for about 6 months, to open about 13-15 bottles, then didn't have enough energy to pull out a cork. I kept the opener on the charger all the time. It seemed to me that the rechargeable battery wasn't working, not holding a charge. I called the manufacturer to see if I would be able to purchase a new rechargeable battery, but I was told No, the battery cannot be replaced. Wine Enthusiast would not stand by this product. I would NOT recommend this product.

Answer:	No pumping required. Invert the device and place on top of the accompanying cork and it automatically evacuates the air creating the vacumn.

Answer:	When I ran into this with other brands of cork removers, I've used a very small cleaning brush (the sort of thing you might use between the keys on keyboards) to loosen the crumbles and a hand-vac to suck out the loose bits. Thinking about it, a child's toothbrush might also work well.

It will never recharge without the charging cord. The dock is actually the foil cutter. and the stand in one piece. The charger is separate.so you should have received both.

Answer:	I have no clue where it's manufacture, the wine opener works very well but the foil doesn't work at all. You'll need to buy a separate foil cutter, that's something I need to buy, as of now I cut the foil with a knife and peel the foil off the bottle.
