Over-Sized Food Pusher

The specially designed food pusher maximizes safety while cutting and provides a firm grip for even the smallest hands. Featuring stainless steel gripping teeth, the pusher should be used at all times. Simply hold the pusher by the finger guard and firmly push down on the food, ensuring at least one of the four spikes deeply pierces the food. Dishwasher safe, top rack only.

Interchangeable Slicing Blades

An efficient blade design ensures that even the softest fruits and vegetables are cut safely and precisely. Included are two slicing cartridges, a v-shaped slicing blade for straight cuts and a 3/16" julienne blade for thin, long strips. Each blade is crafted from durable, cutlery-grade stainless steel and is resistant to rusting. The julienne slicing blade includes a protective storage case, as well as a protective cover for the slicing blade.

Adjustable Slicing Thicknesses

Quickly adjust the thickness of slices from zero to 5/16-inch to suit your recipe. Simply turn the dial clockwise to increase thickness or counterclockwise to decrease thickness; the dial will click into place. This slicer has 5 different thicknesses, 1/16-inch, 1/8-inch, 3/16-inch, 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch.

Cleaning & Storage

The julienne storage case and the blade cover must be washed by hand. All other components of the mandoline slicer are dishwasher safe; top rack only. To clean the blades manually, use a long bristle brush and only move the bristle brush in the direction of the blade.

Storage

After cleaning the slicer, make sure the thickness dial is set to zero. Place the blade cover onto the cutting surface and place the julienne blade into the storage case. Fold the leg into the fully closed position. Then turn the slicer upside down. Place the food pushed under the wire holder and clip the blade case into place under the leg. Store right side up in a cool, dry place.
