Answer:	There are NO screws on the lid of the one I received. It is welded on, and small 'indentations' from the welding are visible.

Answer:	Yes, the cups can handle the jumbo eggs.

Answer:	I put about an inch of water, cover and bring to boil. Meanwhile, spray cups and break eggs into cups - I use extra large. When water boils, remove lid, put in cups and recover. Turn down heat, but keep low boil going. Time for 4.5 mins. If you'd like to make more eggs then you plan to eat and would like to serve them later. Prepare an ice water bath before you start the cooking. When the eggs are done, plunge them immediately into the water bath and let sit until they are completely cooled. Wrap them with a damp paper towel on a plate, covered w/plastic wrap & refrigerate. When ready, bring a pot of water to boil. Submerge eggs and cook just 1 minute remove and dry w/paper towel. They are ready to serve & perfect, every time! I have a B&B and make these all the time...reduces stress in the morning by "prepping" them the night before.
Question:	Isn't Teflon considered bad for you
Answer:	I've been changing my cookware over to stainless because the teflon isn't good for you. But, with the egg poacher, you're only using steam to cook the egg. Frying foods in teflon is when it's bad. I love this egg poacher and have no reservations about it.

Question:	Can the lid be used in the pressure cooker
Answer:	Info from sensible Needs that came with my product said the lids were “hard plastic”. Several websites suggested using only silicone lids in instant pot.

Answer:	Yes, I actually bought 2 (separately), both had the logo. Both my moulds are the same so I can’t comment on the material sturdiness other than say it seems sturdy enough to me.
Question:	What really ships, the sturdy sensible needs mold or a flimy substitute
Answer:	It really is sturdier than most silicone molds. Once heated in the IP though and/or when lifting it into the IP with eggs etc you still have to use a sling. Put it this way when you try to fold it it just springs back.

Answer:	It is made out of a metal, appears to be stamped steel with non-stick coating all around. Have used many times. Although it is non-stick coated I personally still give it a quick shot of non-stick spray oil each time I use it. Eggs come out great just by tipping over. Then I wash up in the automatic dish washer. Eggs taste great, no added after tastes detected.

Answer:	Simply adjust the M/W power and timer to the way you want the egg. For instance, I use 90 percent power for 1 minute 5 seconds and the whites get cooked with semi-runny yolk. Obviously you don't get crispy edges like when you fry an egg.

Answer:	Yes, you need to grease the silicone with butter or oil or the egg will stick.
Question:	My egg explodes every time if I don’t scramble it. What am I doing wrong
Answer:	Make sure you cook on Power 8; place it to the edge of the turn table (not in the middle); and reduce the time by about 5 seconds. With a 1200 watt microwave, usually about 50 seconds works. It will continue to cook afterwards if you let it sit for about a minute. Sometimes it’s the egg itself. Maybe because it’s older or something; it might explode. But in reducing the time, it doesn’t happen very often now. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I can't say with certainty (yet) because I cooked 6 the first time around (and they were all perfect). But if the cooking time is determined as I think it is...by the amount of water per egg as noted on the water cup, the only variant should be how long it takes to boil the water out before the timer goes off. I would expect the same results with 1 egg as for 6.

Question:	It looks like you put more water in for one egg and the least amount of water for 7? This doesn't make sense to me
Answer:	You're correct— it doesn't make sense. I believe you're referring to the measurements on the included cup. I have a different cooker (the SimpleTaste) with the same problem— the measurement markings were embossed incorrectly. You •do• need more water for more eggs and/or longer cooking time. For one egg, I have to use the 6&7 mark, and for two eggs, the 5 mark, etc. I still have to play with the amount of water used, but going by the cup you'd over cook one egg and undercook 7. MAYBE somewhere in between it would be right.
Question:	What and when do you use the egg piercing tool??? No mention of it in the booklet. TJ
Answer:	The piercing tool is to prick eggs on the end when you plan to have a hard boiled egg. Some say it keeps the shell from cracking or that it helps the bottom stay round rather than flat. I don't prick mine and they are fine. I'm not making deviled eggs that have to look good.
