Answer:	Yes you can cook without the lid, and I frequently do because when I cook oats it will bubble over if I use the lid and cause a mess.

Answer:	The three cup model consumes 300 watts, the five cup model 400 watts, and the eight cup model 500 watts. But I suspect you are actually asking about the voltage? In which case no, it does not use 220 VAC, It uses 110 VAC.

Answer:	When the rice is cooked, do not leave the item on WARM for too long. Unplug the pot and let it sit without any additional heat added. Make sure you stir the rice and water before starting to cook. Just putting in rice and pouring in water (without stirring) tends to cause sticking.

Answer:	Sticky rice is not made, it is bought. Rice cooker are the way it is cooked in restaurants, so any rice cooker can do it. You maybe mistaking sticky rice for sushi rice which needs to have vinegar or dashi added. When you buy sticky rice in the store look for the words “glutinous rice” as well as "sticky rice" on the package. The 'secret' is to let the rice soak for 30 minutes at lest before cooking and to use less water than you would for short or long grain rice. Use 2 cups sticky rice to 2 and 1/2 cups water. Let soak for 30 minutes. After soaking, add ½ teaspoon of salt, then press the on button. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. You can freeze the cooked rice.

Answer:	Maybe. Since the ratio of brown rice to water is about 1 cup rice: 2 cup water the volume of pot is maxed out prior to cooking. Water and brown rice is full to the top. If you cook more than 1 cup brown rice you should get a larger capacity cooker. The measuring cup supplied with the cooker is 6 ounces full, rather than standard US 8 ounce cup of measurement.

Question:	What is the minimum amount,can it cook just one cup of rice (two cooked) ? I like the larger steamer size
Answer:	Yes, one cup of rice is fine. We might be able to cook only half of a cup but honestly I never tried it my self. The other answers are pretty much accurate. We can cook up to 6 cups and the quality is great, especially for the price. Whenever it's done cooking, make sure you either keep using the "keep warm" feature or just stir the rice up at the beginning so it wont' stick to the bottom and surrounding area of the cooking container. Question:	Has anyone had a problem with the cooked rice getting dry after just a couple hours on "Keep Warm"? And if so, how did you deal with this problem
Answer:	I would suggest only using that feature for less than an hour. Frankly we used a rice cooker without that feature and we remove the cooking bucket from the unit as soon as possible and simply allow the heat of the metal keep the rice warm.The problem should be obvious to you. to keep ANYTHING warm means you are going to evaporate water from it, right? Next, if you try to add a little water, which you pretty much HAVE to do to keep it moist, means that the rice is absorbing water after the cook, and is becoming softer.It's a neat gimmick feature, but I wouldn't use it. I'd simply cook the rice closer to when I'm going to eat.
Question:	Recently lot of steam coming out of the hole in the lid, cooker surroundings becoming very messy. Any ideas how to address this issue? Thanks
Answer:	lots of steam does come out of the steam hole and it is supposed to do that. It does make a mess so we drape a thin tea towel - not folded over - across the top of the steamer and over the hole. While the towel does get damp, the mess is contained. The thinnest of the towel still allows for the steam to escape while keeping the surroundings relatively dry. Hope that helps.

Answer:	High pH of 7.5 often indicates a high level of calcium in the soil, but if the soil is compacted, or claylike, nutrient availability is decreased. This goes for all nutrients. So a foliar application of calcium could be beneficial if dealing with clay, and you would probably see a color improvement within a few days if soil calcium were tied up. If your soil is claylike, you would benefit from applications of Aerify Plus, which aerates soils and chelates nutrients, making them more available. Answer:	To me it just tastes really really sour like getting a medicine tablet such Advil or aspirin when you accidentally chew it and is just really strong sour flavour with no sweetness to back it up. However, if you mix it with hydracharge or some fruit smoothie/drink, it tastes like a sour fruit punch and grape kinda taste, depending on the flavor, which to me is awesome. I usually mix it with something to avoid that taste.
