Answer:	Yes you can cook without the lid, and I frequently do because when I cook oats it will bubble over if I use the lid and cause a mess.

Answer:	The three cup model consumes 300 watts, the five cup model 400 watts, and the eight cup model 500 watts. But I suspect you are actually asking about the voltage? In which case no, it does not use 220 VAC, It uses 110 VAC.
Question:	Rice is starting to stick badly. I'm thinking the non-stick coating is wearing off - can I restore it or should I just buy a new one
Answer:	When the rice is cooked, do not leave the item on WARM for too long. Unplug the pot and let it sit without any additional heat added. Make sure you stir the rice and water before starting to cook. Just putting in rice and pouring in water (without stirring) tends to cause sticking.
Question:	Does this rice cooker make sticky rice
Answer:	Sticky rice is not made, it is bought. Rice cooker are the way it is cooked in restaurants, so any rice cooker can do it. You maybe mistaking sticky rice for sushi rice which needs to have vinegar or dashi added. When you buy sticky rice in the store look for the words “glutinous rice” as well as "sticky rice" on the package. The 'secret' is to let the rice soak for 30 minutes at lest before cooking and to use less water than you would for short or long grain rice. Use 2 cups sticky rice to 2 and 1/2 cups water. Let soak for 30 minutes. After soaking, add ½ teaspoon of salt, then press the on button. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. You can freeze the cooked rice.

Answer:	It is about 3 1/2” deep. I use it for one person meals.

Answer:	It is a deep medium brown with a rich brown rim. It looks great and has been a fabulous find. You can't see a lot of white but there is definitely a pattern.

Answer:	Yes. You can cook 1 or 2 cups of raw rice. You can even cook 0.5 cup of raw rice, but when you have such, the water lever is very hard to control and it has to be evenly distributed.

Answer:	I bought it since the pot is stainless steel and it has a glass cover. Unfortunately The stainless steel isnt the best quality as I observed some nicks and peels after the first couple of times using it.
Question:	Is any one checked the magnetic property of the stainless steel pot? Want to know whether Magnet gets attached to it
Answer:	The rice cooker I purchased was a 20 cup cooked and not a 10 cup. No the pot is not 100 per cent stainless steel. Magnet has a slight pull to it, at that price I wouldn’t expect to to be 100 per cent stainless. Better than eating out of an aluminum pot.

Answer:	I usually make enough rice for the 1 1/2 cup line, using sushi rice and get about 3 cups of great sushi rice. When I cook brown rice, I make 1 cup and get 2 to 2 1/2 cups of cooked rice.

The cooker uses 450 watts per hour, max. 2 times a day would equal 900 watts used on average. 900 watts times 30 days = 27,000 watts used for a month. 27,000 watts = 27 kWh at your rate of .20 cents per kWh = $5.40 per month to cook approx. 180 cups of rice or $.03 cents to cook 1 cup of rice!! Answer:	Never had mine boil over. Only use the amount of water recommended. The instructions are almost foolproof, and even if you're using the markings on the bowl instead of the measuring cup, the rice still comes out nice.

Answer:	The inner pot and accessories are top rack dishwasher-safe. However, the inner pot and steam tray may become slightly discolored from the dishwasher. Handwashing is recommended to maintain optimal wear and appearance.
