Answer:	If you mean the cord you plug in...mine has 2 flat ends and 1 round(ground). Are you in the states? Sometimes overseas they have different plug in types. Answer:	I just used mine yesterday for the first time and found the same thing. I came to the conclusion you cannot close it. I had way to much lump in it and the brackets were too hot to remove, so it burned with the lid up for a long, long time. I'll adjust how much lump I use. You cannot adjust your temp with it up, so you won't be able to get a good smoke, unless you use a cold smoke method first then the rotisserie. Suggest using a regular thermometer too. I destroyed my Meater one yesterday to due to the heat

Question:	Does the spit rod extend across the entire width of the Genesis, so it sits in both the side cutouts
Answer:	It does but it's a little tight getting it in and out. The round sections of the spit slide easily through the notches in the genesis. The square sections of the spit don't fit through easily. To simplify getting the spit out of the motor after cooking, I had a metal shop shave of some of the metal on the square section to extend the round part. Thus I can slide the spit out of the motor while the spit is still in the notches. It can work without modification, but I find it a lot better now.
Question:	How fast does this motor turn
Answer:	I actually got the motor and put a mark on the output. The rotisserie shaft turns at 3 RPM. Sorry for my way off estimate earlier. I will say this is the best rotisserie I have ever had. Absolutely no slack in the gears. Have not had to use the counterbalance at all.
Question:	How many prong/fork holders does it come with ? Should I buy an extra pair
Answer:	2 fork holders, each has 4 prongs. They are pretty beefy the prongs must be almost 3 1/2 long.

Answer:	Fits our S-330 just fine. Be aware the handle will block your side burner.. I never use the burner, so no big deal there.

Answer:	My 4 burner Weber Genesis is 35 across with the lid open. It is 39 1/2" from the tip that goes in the motor to where the square bar has a rounded cut out that would have to line up w the groove on your grills case.

Question:	Does this one have the removable backing for easy cleanup
Answer:	Hello Jane...I believe that is a standard feature of this model. There are four Phillips head screws that hold the reflective shield in place. Just remove them and the shield slides out from behind the heating element. It's quite easy to do if you first unplug the unit, - slide the glass door into the storage position underneath - rest the rotisserie on the counter with a towel underneath - then remove the screws while looking down into the unit. Remember, the finish on the reflector is polished. It's a good idea to use your cleaner full strength and to let it soak, then rub with an old terry cloth towel. Even using your fingernails to remove build-up will leave a slight mark. Please don't ask me how I know!
Question:	I have one of the very earliest Ronco rotisseries. I couldn't use it inside without my smoke detectors going off. Have they fixed this issue
Answer:	There arenTWO Types of smoke detectors. One senses ions caused by fire. The other detects smoke particulates. These go off w burnt toast. The other may not, but do sense smokeless fires, sooner. A few are dual detecting. Smoke alarms should be just outside the kitchen... not inside.
Question:	Can you really cook 2- 5lb chickens at same time
Answer:	Yes you can. You want to follow the instructions for doing so in the instruction booklet that comes with the rotisserie. Very important to use the elastic ties. This keeps the chicken nice and tight and compact. I always set my birds on the counter for 15 to 20 minutes so that they are not ice cold, but I have cooked them both ways. Just did a prime rib Friday and it was delicious!!
Question:	what is the hight , width, and depth of this ronco
Answer:	It is large the dimensions are 13H x 14W x 11D. I will roast a 12lb turkey. It is not small. Our is an older one. They do have a new compact one which I had seen one time. It's Red in color. This is the appliace in our home! I never use the oven for roasting anymore. I used to hate chiken breat meat but it comes out so tender in this Ronco. You won' be disappointed. You have to purchase cook's twine to keep the chicken wing and drum sticks from flopping but worth it once you get the hang of it. The whole chicken has to be balanced in your rotissorie. Excellent product!
