Answer:	Hi Fred, no there isn't an outside water level. You have to look into the opening where you fill the water into. Inside you'll see a line to see how much water you need to put in. For us it isn't a big deal to do. Usually we fill it every morning and that seems to work for us. We keep 4 gallons of water on hand each time we fill it so we aren't scrambling to fill them when it's low. On really cold days I'll check the level in the evening to make sure it has enough water overnight. This is the second winter using it and it makes a lot of difference in the air moisture throughout our house which is 1400 square feet. With that being said, we are very happy with it.

My filters were contaminated upon arrival and I didn’t realize until 13 days later after I could hardly breath. After figuring out it must be the filters I threw them in the garbage, removed the humidifiers from my home, and my breathing went back to normal. I have a lot of experience with this product through the years so I know the filters are getting contaminated during shipping. When I called the company I was told they no longer use any packaging for the filters. They did not seem to care about my health or the health of others. If you value your health you need to find another brand. Reputable companies will seal their filters in plastic wrap. Don’t make the same mistake I did and trust this company. They changed their name from Essick Air to Air Care and use this seller as a front to avoid liability for their extremely negligent business decisions. This has been an absolute nightmare for me and I hope to inform others so as they do not have to go through the same thing or have their health permanently damaged. Proceed at your own risk!

Answer:	Yes...just fired it up for season two. Bought this model mid-winter, last year (2018)....had the same issue with it randomly just kicking in to loud fan noise, yet fan speed was not turned up. In fact, I had shut the unit off over night (did not unplug) and unit turned in randomly by itself and sounded like an airplane landing and then would just go back to normal .....and other times it just cycles off for a few seconds and then turns back on....each one of these instances, plenty of water....I am about over this product.

Answer:	The onsite specs do say, and I affirm, that the interior has sufficient space to hold a 9in round item in the interior. What needs to be clarified is the height. The effective clearance - that is the available space between the lower rack at the bottom and the heating implement at the top - is slightly less than 4in. An item with a height of 3.5in should fit, but one needs to be concerned with any food being close to the heat source. I would advise against cooking any food in this oven that will rise in excess of 3.5in from bottom of pan to highest point.

Question:	can you control baking temperature? IT appears that the temperature dial does not control the bake temperature
Answer:	The use and care guide provided by the company does not provide any distance measurements in the safeguards section regarding clearance space, nor does it advise not using it underneath kitchen cabinets. With the roll-top door in the "up" position, you would need at least 14 inches of clearance to allow for unobstructed opening. You should also allow for at least an inch of clearance behind the oven to allow the door to open completely without touching a wall or back-splash tile. Answer:	No, it's not really hot on the outside I've touched it with my bare hands after making toast and it's just warm. The oven has double walls. However -- f you crank it up to maximum temperature for am hour, I assume it would get hotter. I don't know if that's recommend for any toaster oven.

I pull it out once a week to clean and have not seen any damage. I assume it can get hot just keep an eye on it until you figure it out. Also I never depend on the temp being what it's set on, most things I fry or bake are at 225 to 300 degrees and have developed quite good skills on this thing

Note carefully: 1. That no mention was made what the non-stick coating was made of, and 2. Lana said that if you're leery of non-stick coating, then go with the Omni, and not with the Omni PLUS which has the non-stick coating.

Answer:	It doesn’t smoke. I put a piece of bread on the tray when I baked the bacon in it the first time because I read that it would. (I cooked 20 oz of bacon by cutting the pieces in half and putting them in the rotisserie basket. 1/4 of the bacon at a time.). The second time I air fried it and didn’t put bread and it didn’t smoke.

Question:	Is it safe to use aluminum foil for baking , e.g. to cover the baking tray
Answer:	Thank you for your question, Margarita. Aluminum foil can be used on/around the food being cooked, and on/around the bake pan. However, be aware that using aluminum foil changes the heating characteristics of the oven, and may lead to unpredictable results. Never use aluminum foil on the crumb tray, the floor, the walls, or along the entire rack. Doing so will cause overheating, and improperly manipulates heat reflection, leading to poor results.
Question:	Is it ptfe or pfoa free
Answer:	It looks like stainless steel inside and out - I do not see any coating on it, I would not have kept it if it had. The inside is shiny SS and the outside is brushed SS. Very nice oven -- I'm a nutritionist and I like that it uses crystal rods for the heating elements - all the others in this class use aluminum. Not that I've seen any studies regarding this, but crystal seems a little better than heating up aluminum.

Answer:	Yes, if your can find a second rack but.... you will not get an even bake. You can not successfully cook a pizza, pie, bread pan, roast, whole chicken etc. This oven does not get to 450 no matter how long you wait and does not have clearance for anything like bread or whole chicken roaster even on the bottom rack which I would not recommend for an even bake. Toast does not cook evenly either. If you are cooking small meal for 2 or reheating fine. This is not going to replace your full sized oven if you are a cook or baker.

Answer:	There are "Warm" and "Broil" buttons, but the manual does not say how to use them. There is no button called "reheat," and the User Manual does not indicate how to use this oven for reheating purposes. My review of March 12, 2015, has photos that show the size difference between a standard "toaster oven" (as the Amazon product page describes it). and this "extra large countertop oven" (as the User Manual describes it).
Question:	Why are dimensions smaller than what is advertised on Amazon? I expected a unit almost 24" wide and was willing to pay extra for size
Answer:	The unit will fit a 16" pizza, but I don't know how you got 24" when the interior chamber dimensions say the width is about 15.75" and the depth is16.36". The entire unit with the control section (and the interior of about 17") is about 21.5" wide. I am sorry you seem disappointed, but my built-in stove top/oven is 24" on the interior -- that would be HUGE for a counter top unit. The returns are easy on Amazon if you're not happy and they will give you a full refund. I LOVE mine and would definitely recommend.

Answer:	The oven is 13.5" across, 11.5" front to back and 7.25" high, but only 6" from the top of the rack in its lowest position to the top of the oven. The oven will fit a 9x13 cake pan and a 13" pizza (the back of the oven is rounded out to accomodate a round pan). I recently roasted a 6 pound turkey breast in the oven and I probably couldn't have done one much larger.

Answer:	I just called Breville and it is NOT PTFE or PFOA free I have a bird so I cannot have cookware or electrics that contain PTFE/PFOA it's hard to get answers, but Breville, Cusinart and Calapholon ALL have their toaster & toaster convection combo ovens contain a non-stick coating with PTFE/PFOA. I'm calling Oster next, but they are closed now for the night.PS: to get an accurate answer on this type of "chemical" technical question, you really have to get to the corporate level not the 800 CS to get the ACTUAL info, many CS's said they were "free" but no one could show me on their websites where that was in writing. Answer:	We have a 6 quart Presto that was made sometime in the early 1970's. Finally got to the point where it would not seal and I replaced the overpressure plug and seal ring, now works perfectly again: pot roasts up to 5 pounds in 1 hour, delicious and tender, even with cheap chuck roasts. You won't be disappointed. Buy the 8 quart. If you buy the smaller 4 or 6 quart, you will soon wish you had bought the 8 quart model. The way to use this for pot roasts: Use enough water to just cover the trivet plus maybe an extra cup or two. Arrange all your ingredients inside with the roast on the bottom and potatoes on top. Lock the lid in place, then run the stove burner at maximum until the water is boiling (you will be able to hear it boiling in there), and the steam pressure has built to the point that it lifts the vent weight and starts it jiggling, then turn the heat down to medium. Watch the weight for a few minutes. You want the heat just high enough to keep the weight jiggling a little, but not so much that it's venting lots of steam. As soon as the water is boiling and pressure starts to build, set your timer to 45 minutes for a small roast (2~3 pounds) or 60 minutes for a big one (5~7 pounds). When the cooking is done, turn the stove off and wait for the pressure to drop - this will take several minutes. To test, lift the vent weight slightly with a fork or spoon, and if it doesn't gush steam, the pressure has dropped enough to lift the weight off completely and open the lid.After a few years, the cooker may develop a leak somewhere under the rim of the lid and refuse to build pressure. This is a sign that's it's time to replace the sealing ring and overpressure safety plug, which you will buy as a set, based on the model number of your cooker. Answer:	Something about one answer (from Alan Hall) does not make sense. "The real dimensions are 11.5" tall by 19" deep by 22" wide. This is an extra large oven as designated by the XL in the model number. It can hold two 16" diameter pizzas." Unless you are stacking, overlapping, or folding the two 16"-diameter pizzas to make them fit . . . since 2x16=32, how can this oven hold two of such pizzas?
Question:	I usually cover my chicken with aluminum foil -that way it stays extra juicy. Can I place it inside this oven
Answer:	Placing foil in the unit may cause the unit to heat up over 500 degrees. For this reason we do not suggest using foil in the toaster oven.
Question:	Can another baking rack be purchased to make it more efficient and cook on two racks at one time
Answer:	The Fox Run Rectangular rack sold by Amazon is a good addition. Oster DOES NOT sell an additional rack and states it is UNAVAILABLE. Don't go on a wild goose chase as I did. The Fox Run rack does not provide more than 1" room between itself and the original rack however, I bought it to specifically place a drip tray when I roast steaks on the higher rack in the oven. It works! Please note: The Fox Run rack is listed as 10" x 14" when it is actually 14.25" wide. It IS a tight fit but it really fits well if you are careful when installing. I recommend leaving it in place for your convenience. This Fox Run addition made the difference for me for keeping the oven because I roast individual steaks most of the time. It also works great alone for taller foods when the original rack does not provide enough height for cooking larger items. It's worth a try if you really want more than just the one rack that only comes with the Oster Toaster Convention oven. This oven is a keeper for me!
Question:	what are the inside dimensions
Answer:	We received the Oster TSSTTVMNDG convection oven December 2nd. We liked it until we tried a 9x13 pan in the oven. Not enough space! We tried a different 9x13 pan (Pyrex - what I consider the standard for casseroles). Same result. The 9"x13" is the INSIDE dimensions of the pan. Most pans have a handle on each end or a lip around the edge. We are very disappointed. Our pans do fit in our microwave, handles & all. We are returning this convection oven & hope to find one larger. I did see a Black & Decker at Walmart that said it was "extra wide for a 9x13 pan WITH handles".

Answer:	I verified with my oven thermometer that it does in fact reach 480F unlike some competitors that can be up to 25 degrees shy of the set temp. It took 25 minutes for the Smart Oven Air to reach 480F.

Answer:	Yes it does have non-stick walls. To clean use a soft, damp sponge with a non abrasive liquid cleaner. Pour on the sponge. Voltage is 110. Watts are 1800. They recommend operating the oven on a dedicated circuit separated from other appliances. Just a tip I bought an oven liner that u put in the bottom of a regular electric oven. Cut it done to the size that fits the tray that pulls out from the bottom of the breville. The tray that pulls out is not non-stick. Clean up is a breeze. This is my 2nd breville oven. I bought the 900 model because it is bigger and fits a 9x13 pans. Gave my son my smaller oven.I love this oven a lot. The light is great, air fry does frozen French fries to perfection. Easter I cooked a 10 lb ham. In my house it's called "moms easy bake oven". Just to separate between it and the regular oven.
