Answer:	You can buy a 5ft 3 wire extension cord from wal mart or similar. Cut off female end of plug, strip back cord covering exposing the 3 wires. Strip wire ends and connect white to white, black to black and green to green inside the small electrical junction box on the front bottom right side of the appliance. Then plug it in. Appliance is made to be hard wired but installing a cord is not a difficult job. All tools and supplies can be purchased at wal mart or home store. I just unwired the cord from my old dishwasher and put it on this one. This machine is great and cleans like none other also very quiet.

Answer:	The compartments vary in size...some small and some larger.

Answer:	Length= 9 1/2 inches Width= 5 1/2 inches Height(Deep)= 5 inches. Seems like it's holding up well. If your bottom rack is designed with "fingers" all across the bottom you'll find that the basket is hard to place. You may need to bend some of the "fingers" to fit into the holes in the bottom of the basket. Otherwise it's a useable basket. It has a handle on top that snaps in place but doesn't stay attached very well. It can be removed. For the money, I would recommend it.

Answer:	A silicone adhesive caulk isn’t needed for this install. You want to place the mounting bracket and bend the two end tabs 90 degrees and then screw them into a wood cabinet. When securely screwed in you don’t get any movement. (And you don’t have to deal with any caulk cleanup.)

Answer:	Use less detergent, and I only use Finish brand powdered detergent, works fantastically. Using a pinch of borax works well too for my glassware to prevent water stains.

Answer:	The only clock it has is its countdown timer that starts at the beginning of a cycle. That time varies by the Wash Cycle selected. If this dishwasher has an AM/PM clock, then I didn't see that and haven't had a need for it.
