Answer:	You can get the warranty. You need to buy that separately. So far the mixer is working very good for us.
Question:	I wanted to know if it is okay to grind raw rice and lentils in this model. Have you tried to do that and would it affect the life of the product
Answer:	I have ground soaked rice and lentils in it and it came out good in about 3 30-60secs grinding time. As long as you follow the instructions, I think it should work fine. Hope this helps.

Answer:	no,our mixer working perfectly,did u try a small red button under the motor base just push n try again,still not working may be have some technical errors better send it back n they will replace or refund, make another order definitely next one will work,becoz we recommended it for 3 more persons ,all of them are working....

Question:	When I plugged it in and pressed the on button it didn’t turn on at all. Nothing happened. Why isn’t working
Answer:	There is a little trick to it . . . after placing the container full of food upside down on top of the unit, you must align the little plastic knobs so that the lid drops down into them and then twist it clockwise a little to lock it in. As soon as you do that, if the unit is plugged in, you will hear a little beep. This is to let you know it is ready to be turned on. If you don't do the above, it won't start up for safety reasons. This may happen if the blender is run for more than one minute at a time, causing it to overheat or even damaging the motor. 1. Place food chopper onto blender base, then add cilantro and pulse until desired texture is reached. Set blended ingredient aside in a mixing bowl.

3. Stir in cilantro and lime juice.

1/2 cup diced peaches, fresh or canned.

1 mango, pitted, peeled and diced.

1/2 red pepper, diced.

3 green onions, chopped.

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger.

1/4 cup chopped parsley.

1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped (optional).

2 tablespoons lime juice.

1. Toss all ingredients together.

Answer:	Great! I had never used it to crush ice before so I just tried it. I got snow in less than 2 seconds. Amazing!
Question:	Vitamix has so many model options. I am wondering if the 5300 is the newer version of 5200 and what is the difference, plus what about 7500? Newest
Answer:	From what I understand is the only difference is the 5300 has the new shorter but wider jug. I have the 5300 and the shorter jug helps to mix better and a better fit on the counter top. The 7500? Not looked into that one.

Answer:	I bought my 5300 new and it came with a 7 year warranty.
Question:	Does the factory refurbished model come with an updated blade/container that eliminates the black spec issue
Answer:	I wasn't aware of a black spec issue. My container looked original and had water spots on it, like they washed it. The blade says 03-15. I just tested it and yes there were a few (like maybe 5) very tiny specks. You have to really look for them. I'm not worried about it. I'm sure we eat more of it from our Teflon pans everyday than what is seen in these blenders. I believe the recall for containers was only for ones dated before August 2013. Black specks or not, this is the best blender I have owned.

Answer:	Here are the cleaning steps:Before using for the first time:Remove the roller stones from the roller shaft by loosening the nut at the wider end of the stone.Use pipe cleaner and clean the hole in the roller stone.Use soap and water to clean stones, roller holder, stainless steel drum, atta kneader, spatula etc. Assemble them back and start using.Cleaning after each use:1. Remove as much batter from the roller stones and the drum as possible.2. Place the roller stone assembly back in the stainless steel drum.3. Add one cup of water to the drum.4. Switch on the unit.5. Water cleans the batter in the crevices and hard to reach places6. Switch off the unit.7. Use the water (along with residual batter) with the already ground mixture.8. Remove the roller stone assembly.9. Rinse it well with running water.10. Turn the roller stone assembly upside down.11. Clean the batter inside the tube at the bottom of the roller holder using a baby tooth brush and running water12. Rinse the drum well. 13. Finally use dishwashing soap and clean all the parts.14.
