Answer:	Height is 14 inches as has been stated previously. However when the head is tilted back it measures 17.5 inches at the highest point. I really love this mixer the more I use it which is frequently.

Answer:	I usually use mine to mix cookie dough or batter for pastries. I mixed a cinnamon roll type dough with it, and there were no problems. I don't like the pouring shield though - it got in the way, so I just removed it.

Answer:	I keep a kosher kitchen and, therefore, I have both this mixer and a KitchenAid. I think I have a professional KitchenAid, which has a 6-quart bowl. The main difference between these two mixers is the size of the bowl. I haven’t purchased any other bowls for this mixer. However, I assume you don’t bake for 12-20 people, as I sometimes do. But honestly, I’ve never needed to use more volume with this particular mixer. So I have no complaints with this mixer. Actually, I find that this mixer is better designed when it comes to attaching or removing the bowl. Putting a bowl in a KitchenAid involves using a flat hook on the bowl, with a corresponding strip of metal attached to the stand with a screw. After a certain amount of using, I have to move the strip of metal back into its proper place and tighten the screw. This Hamilton Beach bowl simply twists into (and out of) the base. In this case, simpler is much better.

Answer:	Yes, it moves. It moves its' position in the bowl; it doesn't stay stationary in the bowl while mixing.
Question:	Do the beaters etc. reach the bottom of the bowl
Answer:	Those attachments can not reach the bottom of the bowl in order to protect it. Because if the beaters etc reach the bottom of the bowl, the friction can damage the bowl and put extra strain on the mixer's motor. If the attachments are rubbing against the bowl, there will be some wear on the bottom of the attachment or you can see small circular scratches on the bottom of the bowl. Those damage will shorten the service life of the stand mixer.

Answer:	I unfortunately purchased this one and regret it. The bowl is 5 quarts but can only mix 1.5lbs of flour due to the hook and assembly being so low in the bowl to prevent the dough from getting caught up at the top where the spring is. The first time i made pizza dough i felt like it got up in the gears and only used 2lbs of flour. Bottom line the price is attractive but my experience with kitchenaids have been 100% better!

Answer:	I believe the meat output is the same as on a commercial sized grinder. I was a butcher so I used one daily. The blades attach to the corkscrew insert then the plate goes on the outside and screws on. Unlike my commercial grinder, only tighten this attachment by hand. You don't want to have to apply a lot of pressure to loosen it. I lube mine with food grade mineral oil before use and after cleaning. No sausage stuffer attachment available far as I know.

Answer:	The reason I bought this mixer is because I was tired of stopping my KitchenAid to add ingredients and scrap down the sides. This mixer is well thought out. I have used the cake bowl and beaters which worked just fine. What I like is the two different beater choices for the heaviness of the cake or cookie batter. Plus it makes excellent bread without having to knead by hand. I LOVE this mixer!

Answer:	The 6220 has plastic control knobs and a 5 year warranty. The new 6230 model has all metal control knobs, and more comfortable shaped knob for tightening the mixing arm as well as a 7 year warranty. Those are the only different here in the North American model. In Europe there was an increase in the motor wattage but no changes to the motor here in the US and Canada.
