Answer:	you will need to put water into the empty bowl. it comes with a separate place where you can put the foods/vegetables that you want to steam.

Answer:	I have not - and do not see the need. If you are looking to portion before cooking , I believe that there may be a slight change in taste from one bag to the next.

Answer:	Most heating plates have as temperature fuse built in, if the plate got too hot for any reason, the temperature fuse would open up, and the heating plate would not work anymore. If you do not have a electrical background, or any experience with troubleshooting small appliances, then I would not try to fix the item. The manual states if the unit fails to heat to send it to an authorize repair service center. The USA toll free number to call is 800-395-8325. The warranty varies per country, so call the toll free number to see if you have a greater than 90 day warranty, and if you do, T-fal should fix it for free.
Question:	How do I make 1 cup of Jasmine rice? I put 1 cup of rice and 1.5 cups of water and let it run but the rice didn't cook all the way

Chicken Enchilada uses chicken tenderloins hut in half. Frozen corn, thawed then select pureed soup program and start. Shrimp could be either way I'd put cooked. Easy to buy that way. The instruction booklet is a good start. Make your own and versions. I will make some jam in a week or so.

Answer:	Did you mean the 9641/96 and the 9641/99? I think they're the same, except the 99 comes with a cookbook. Either way, they are both phenomenal and have really changed the way I cook. Get either and you'll be happy.

Answer:	Hello! the only deference with the two models is the packaging and the accessories.
Question:	I have what i believe to be an older version of the xxl digital fryer. the pan only contains 1, deep, four sectioned area. this new one has 2 layers
Answer:	Yes, there are two layers. There is an insert below the basket that channels grease and drippings into another similar looking 'star' chamber below it. Both are removable as is the entire basket holder. It's sometimes difficult to get theses 'star' plates out. The slits in the top plate are very narrow. I don't think this particular model has an 'earlier' version. It's relatively new - hard to find 8½ inch pans at this point.

Answer:	No, the XXL is much improved. I have not had the smoke issues as I have with the XL.

Question:	Can jars for canning be sterilized (steamed) in the pot prior to filling for canning
Answer:	You can sterilize mason jars using the steam cycle. Place the trivet in your MultiPot steel pot, pour 1 1/2 cups of water into the pot, and place jars on top of the trivet/steam rack. Set the steam vent handle to Sealing and select Steam on High Pressure for 1 minute. Remember that the MultiPot is not designed for pressure canning. Always use a stovetop pressure canner for preserving low-acid foods, as electric pressure cookers are not approved or rated for canning food.

Answer:	Mealthy MultiPot accessories are now available on Amazon. It appears too that most inside-the-pot accessories that will work in in other similar pressure cooker appliances will also work in the MultiPot.. By example, I wanted a nice large steam basked for my MultiPot. After some research I found on Amazon the Hatrigo Instant Pot Accessories 6 qt Steamer Basket that fits InstaPot Pressure Cookers. It is a superb steam basket, rated 4.8 Stars in 1,240+ reviews.. This steam basket works perfectly in my MultiPot.. I could not be happier with it and it works perfectly fine for my needs.. Look around for other accessories that might meet your needs.
Question:	What parts can be cleaned in a dishwasher
Answer:	Honestly I would perfer to hand wash all of the pieces of my stainless steel inner pot and all other parts. My reason is the heat over time in the dish washer will mess the silicone gasket up it best to wash by hand and let it air dry. Also I believe putting stainless still in the dishwasher starts giving it a discolor look or dull look. Yes I do have a dishwasher but on things like that I like to hand washing them.
Question:	Im an instant pot daily user, is this one just as good
Answer:	We have an Instant Pot and a Mealthy Multipot. If anyone in my family is asked to grab the pressure cooker, they return with the Mealthy. It is sleek. It has the same features. It comes with an extra silicone ring. We love the Mealthy. My husband swears it works better. I have no proof on that, but I can tell you our Mealthy makes more meals than the Instant Pot. It's just as good, if not better when it comes to cooking, style, use and price.
