Answer:	Hopefully, this might help you. You are correct, cross bar is part of the frame that the top is attached to. I have no idea what the c-clamp you are referring to looks like. What I can tell you is that the cross bar is located 2.5" from the edge of the top. I presume the manufacturer placed the cross bar away from the edge so clamps could be mounted but not sure if the clamp you are referring to would fit on the 2.5"? As a side note, I really like my desk. Has tons of room on the top and is very sturdy! Good luck!

Answer:	The button must be held to dispense. Caution... Design flaw. There is an O-ring under the button to take out some of the play in the button. This O-ring causes the button to stick into the "on" Position, you will not be able to turn the water off when this happens. One solution suggested by other people is to remove the O-Ring before installing.
Question:	How many watts does this product use per hour? And can i turn it off constently to save electricity without it affecting performance
Answer:	Since the heating element of these dispensers has a limited lifetime of about 5 years, and you can't just buy a new element - you have to buy a whole new unit - it makes sense to me to turn it off every night to come back on in the morning. I also turn it off when out of town, all of this using one of my home automation modules. With average use, my dispenser used only 15 to 20 kWh per month.

Answer:	No, this model requires electricity to dispense water. Zojirushi does make a model, CW-PZC22/30, with an air pump top so you can heat an go.
Question:	do you need to empty this out at night when turning off for the day, or can you reheat the water the next morning
Answer:	The biggest energy demand with this appliance occurs when it brings a tank of cold water up to temperature. Overcoming all that thermal inertia is much harder work than simply replacing the small amount of energy that "leaks" out of the the appliance over time. If your jar pot is sized appropriately for your usage leave it on. If you have too large a unit (is this possible? ; ) or too small a unit, and are concerned about energy consumption, you may want to purchase something more appropriate to your demands. If you are going on a long vacation, you may want to unplug it, but I suggest that you also empty the pot and leave the lid open or off to prevent development of bad tastes, mold, etc.,. We have had our current pot in continuous operation since 2013. It is used heavily, and is never unplugged. About two weeks ago I had to replace the lid seal (readily available from Zo) which took all of five minutes. That is the only maintenance we have needed in approximately 52,560 hours of uninterrupted operation. Not too shabby. Feel free to leave it up and running. No one should have to wait for coffee.

Answer:	Yes, it's BPA free. My husband bought this and is very conscientious when it comes to food safety, lead, aluminum, BPA in plastics, etc. We absolutely LOVE this hot water dispenser! We keep it on our counter, plugged in, and use it every day for 1 cup coffee, tea, oatmeal, etc. IMPORTANT! We only use Reverse Osmosis water in it. Tap water has a lot of mineral deposits which will build up and degrade the product. Our first one lasted over 15 years! Hope this helps!

Answer:	I measured the strainer I have. It is 4 inches outer diameter and the indent is 3 inches diameter. If your drain is 3.5 inches square it would be 4.95 inches across the corners so the strainer would fit but may leave the corners of the drain exposed. I hope this helps.

Question:	Is the heating element made of aluminum
Answer:	I haven't owned this in years but I'm pretty sure it's a standard 3.5 mm, stereo, audio jack (male on both ends). It should be in the specs for the unit if you search for specifications online. Check out your model (maybe search for "reviews" of it). There is even a picture of the cable on the Amazon listing; although that cable looks like a mono not a stereo, the written specifications should say stereo -- and it will make a difference.
Question:	Does the boiling water touch plastic while in the kettle
Answer:	I would get my own headphones if you don't have them already to maximize the sound experience, but yea, it pretty much replicates the sound you input unless you only use the mute, which I do sometimes. You can even modify the reverb to make it sound more like a concert stage but I think that's kind of gimmicky.
Question:	Where is it made
Answer:	I'd say the only thing that makes this expensive mute worth it is if you already have the studio system, whether it's the new or old version, as the mute is backward compatible. It works well as a practice mute WITH the mic, but without the mic it is hard to hear yourself.
Question:	Is the heating element/auto shut off brit ish strix thermostat technology
Answer:	I don't know for certain, as I returned my Tromba (I did not like the sound nor feel) prior to using this; but I believe it will. It fits my fluegelhorn just fine.

Answer:	I have not noticed that any of the lights blink. Next time I use I will try to notice if lights blink. Be sure that the plug is plugged all the way into the pot as if loose it could cause the lights to blink.

Answer:	For safety reason, if you did not perfectly match the indicator between body and base, it will stop working. Please check the indicators ( there is a small triangle on the body, and one at base) let us know if problem solved after matching this. Thanks!
