Answer:	It does run through a breaker and can be disconnected. It can also be removed for future replacement as needed. The first use I put this to was as a simple breaker panel; I left the converter/charger disconnected.

incredibly so. in the 3rd picture on the product page, you press the thumb slide (the clear item numbered 2) foward to eject the double basket (basket and "basket housing"), place on the included silicon mat (orange circle) and under the slide is a thumb button you press to release the basket from the "housing" (numbered 1 in the picture). all done single-handed with minimal effort (probably depending on basket contents). can't recommend this fryer enough. we purchased it last November and have used it near daily and were so impressed, i bouggt one for my mom for Christmas (who in turn did the same for my brother). cannot beat it for the price (especially since its dropped since i bought it). hope this helped make your decision to purchase or not.

OVERHEATING PROTECTION

Should the inner temperature control system fail, the overheating protection system will be activated and the Unit will not function. (Should this happen, unplug the power cord. Allow time for the Unit to cool completely before restarting or storing.)

AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
