1.Automatic shut-off:

A. The hot plate turns off automatically after 120minutes, if no input was given over the operator control panel during this time. This switching serves as security for you.

B. The auto-pan detection will turn off heating when cookware removed from the cooktop and shut the unit automatically after 60 seconds if no cookware is detected.

2.When the unit off, the fan may continue running until the temperature of the induction cooker is below 120℉.

3.Never heat empty cookware. This will cause the unit to overheat, damage the cookware and/or cause the unite unit shut off.

4.You may think the induction cooker is loud, but, this sound comes from the heat sink fan of the internal magnetic coil (the principle is similar to the cooling fan of a notebook). When the power is high, the internal temperature needs to be cooled at a faster speed to keep the circuit board and the wire reel safe, so the fan will run at high speed at this time, which is a normal working state! Another reason is that the bottom of the pot is uneven, which causes uneven heating and makes a louder sound.

Answer:	The 1800 is a max per burner. So you can have one burner set for a max of 1800, but the 2nd, burner can't be used. You can also set one burner at 1200 and the 2nd one at 600. Hope this helps.

Question:	Does it only cook in between the inner and outer circle? If so what is the diameter of the inner circle and the outer circle
Answer:	These use inner smaller rings for low power - smallest pots and pans . More power energizes more rings near the middle orbit so they add up and expand the heat area. You can tell by the way butter sizzles in the center only on low power. The rings extend no where near the outer diameter - large pans only get heat near their center. I have 10 years of experience with induction hot plates.
Question:	Which temp does this start with? highest or lowest or medium
Answer:	It defaults to medium (5), although even 'medium' for this one is really pretty high (I would burn sugar when caramelizing it anything below 2.5, so 5 would be way too hot).
Question:	Bought this specifically for deep frying chicken etc. I set to 10 or 400 degrees. Oil did not make it past 280 degrees after 20 min. Any suggestions
Answer:	You should probably use Wattage instead of the temperature function. Be sure to look at the conversion in the little book sent with hob. I know that sometimes when I am cooking with the temperature mode rather than wattage, there is a tendency for it to cool down. When I want sustained heat, I use wattage. Also, take seriously the warning about overheating and burning out the top.
Question:	what is the exact height of the cooking surface from the counter
Answer:	The cooking surface is 2.25" above the countertop. The front edge, where the controls are, is slightly higher at 2.375", presumably to offer more airspace to the cooling fan which is mounted beneath the front of the unit.

Question:	Is power level setting achieved through power on/off duty cycle
Answer:	10" is for the big one. The smaller one is ~6" which I tried my smaller pot but it won't work for the burner. Anything between won't work either. I think it's my pots/pans size. It have to be 10" diameter. Mine weren't and I don't have reason to buy more pot/pan that size because I have too many sizes but 10". Luckily, the product come with 10" pot. That works for me !!
Question:	How long, or short, is the power cord
Answer:	My Rosewell just now started emitting a noticeably loud buzz. So what did I do, I took it apart. Unplug it, tip it over on a towel, remove five cross point head screws from the corners. The sixth screw is meant to stop you, but those things never stop me! If you can, take a straight blade screwdriver and file out the middle of the blade so it fits over the tricky screw and remove it. Find a normal screw to put back in. Separate the top from the bottom. The guts are part of the bottom so only lift it a little way and unplug the cable from the control panel. There is some dried up white goop in the center of the burner, this is probably where the temp sensor is. Collect it all together and put it on the center of the burner or put a dab of white zine oxide ointment on that spot, it's used as heat sink compound, put it back together do not use the force and see what happens. I think the loud buzz is probably a magnet at the center vibrating. You could just let the buzz go, try shifting the pan around a little bit. Do this at your own risk. I'm very experienced, and do know what I'm doing.
