1.Automatic shut-off:

A. The hot plate turns off automatically after 120minutes, if no input was given over the operator control panel during this time. This switching serves as security for you.

B. The auto-pan detection will turn off heating when cookware removed from the cooktop and shut the unit automatically after 60 seconds if no cookware is detected.

2.When the unit off, the fan may continue running until the temperature of the induction cooker is below 120℉.

3.Never heat empty cookware. This will cause the unit to overheat, damage the cookware and/or cause the unite unit shut off.

4.You may think the induction cooker is loud, but, this sound comes from the heat sink fan of the internal magnetic coil (the principle is similar to the cooling fan of a notebook). When the power is high, the internal temperature needs to be cooled at a faster speed to keep the circuit board and the wire reel safe, so the fan will run at high speed at this time, which is a normal working state! Another reason is that the bottom of the pot is uneven, which causes uneven heating and makes a louder sound.

Question:	Is nuwave induction burner could be touch in the burner after cooking
Answer:	The top does not get very hot because it does not supply the heat to the pan. It only gets a little hot because of the heat from the pan that is sitting on it. The top of it getting hot is not an issue. It is nothing like a regular stove. You can mess with it as soon as you are done and will have no problems.
Question:	Is the pan dishwasher safe
Answer:	You'll hear burying answers, but I'm going to tell you that you should never use The dishwasher for any non-stick pan. Should always be done by hand to protect the finish and guard against abrasion and being scratched. And by the way, because it's a ceramic coating in many cases or an artificial coding, you should be careful adding cold liquids to the hot pan because it can create small microfractures because of the thermal shock of the metal shrinking when you put the water or the cold liquid on it. And this is just physics this has nothing to do with cooking technique it has everything to do with these pans are fairly thin and they don't tolerate that very well. I've been using the PICs as a travel nurse now going on 7 years. So I've had a lot of experience.

Question:	Is power level setting achieved through power on/off duty cycle
Answer:	10" is for the big one. The smaller one is ~6" which I tried my smaller pot but it won't work for the burner. Anything between won't work either. I think it's my pots/pans size. It have to be 10" diameter. Mine weren't and I don't have reason to buy more pot/pan that size because I have too many sizes but 10". Luckily, the product come with 10" pot. That works for me !!
Question:	How long, or short, is the power cord
Answer:	My Rosewell just now started emitting a noticeably loud buzz. So what did I do, I took it apart. Unplug it, tip it over on a towel, remove five cross point head screws from the corners. The sixth screw is meant to stop you, but those things never stop me! If you can, take a straight blade screwdriver and file out the middle of the blade so it fits over the tricky screw and remove it. Find a normal screw to put back in. Separate the top from the bottom. The guts are part of the bottom so only lift it a little way and unplug the cable from the control panel. There is some dried up white goop in the center of the burner, this is probably where the temp sensor is. Collect it all together and put it on the center of the burner or put a dab of white zine oxide ointment on that spot, it's used as heat sink compound, put it back together do not use the force and see what happens. I think the loud buzz is probably a magnet at the center vibrating. You could just let the buzz go, try shifting the pan around a little bit. Do this at your own risk. I'm very experienced, and do know what I'm doing.

Answer:	I doubt it is made in the USA. The quality control sticker on the bottom has the initials of the employees in Chinese. The company maybe in the USA but not the manufacturing.

Answer:	Hi. This is a professional model.. The $80 or so ones are not.. Look at the specs 100 power level settiings, cheaper models give you about 10 and they are not anyway near as precise. I do not have a cheaper model so my comparison is by a lot of research I did, reading reviews, etc. etc.I own 2 of these and do not regret the expense at all but then I am into precision cooking also.Good luck in your search Glenn

Answer:	What shaft you talking about? These 4 knobs are from a stove top. They sold me for $38. each is a highway robbery. Anyway, I protest to the Whirlpool corp for making such cheap knobs.

Answer:	I don't know what overlapping means but I cook with a 12in pan on this just fine. This burner is really good, the only drawback is it gets very hot quickly and then will settle down after a minute or two of being on initially.

Answer:	Then you are in luck. I just put a pot on and checked it. 80 is the low end of setting and it adjusts in 10-degree increments. Remember that the temperature sensor is in the surface of the hob, so the pan will likely be hotter, at least until the top of the hob reaches the temperature of the pan. For what it is worth, we really like this unit. It is very controllable and for equilibrium simmering the temperature control works pretty well. Out unit has been reasonably quiet and performs very well. I got it to "try out" induction before considering a cooktop. It is now our "go to" element for regular cooking.

Answer:	The thing about induction burner is that it only works with pan with a bottom that sticks to a magnet (I know… ). But it cooks really fast. When you shop for pots and pans you might want to buy the ones with a piece of magnet handy.

Answer:	I just bought this induction burner 3 days ago and have been using it a few times and it seemed fine. The fan runs to cool down the heat inside the machine, so it would be a little noisy as it works longer. But when you start frying, fans noise doesn't seem to bother and it's all about your cooking noise actually.
Question:	What size is the induction burner
Answer:	I live by myself and have limited space. This cooktop is around the size of a 13 inches laptop I think, but thicker for sure. Suits well even if you have a small kitchen. And it's easy to move!
