Question:	Can this be either a freezer or refrigerator
Answer:	I have the freezer. Amazon's questions on this particular item don't work correctly as I keep getting questions on the combo unit and not specifically the freezer. The freezer has its own item number, and the refridge/freezer combo has it's own part number. I love the FREEZER, but it was damaged in shipment 3 times! Finally kept the last one even though it was dented on the bottom as I was tired of dealing with shipment damage and the damage didn't show as much as the previous ones.

More hygienic (thus, less disgusting) than storing frozen feeder rodents (or raw poultry and other meat) with any of your family's foodstuffs that won't be cooked before they are eaten! The lack of an auto defrost feature is actually an advantage, since temperatures fluctuate little except when you are defrosting manually.

Answer:	It has fixed shelves. The shelves can't be removed because the evaporator coils are placed on the underside of every wire shelves (sandwiched).

Answer:	The instructions say it needs a minimum of 4 inches clearance in back and on the left and right sides. This is why: a normal kitchen refrigerator has a fan that blows the warm air away, often out the front at floor level. But the heat produced by this freezer is dissipated by the three sides of the body with no air blower. So 4 inches of free air is needed to carry the heat away. It is OK to put things on top; the freezer does not eliminate waste heat through the top surface.

Answer:	According to the www.certipur.us web site, the foam is made without standard (PBDE) flame retardants. One other advantage is that the foam is low volatility, which means chemical vapors from the manufacturing process are lower than average.

I also use it between my legs when I sleep on my side because it puts a good alignment for my back (tall side between my thighs) but then my legs gently slope down to my feet unlike the other between the thigh pillows that don't support the lower legs.

Answer:	Dear Tim and Karen, I found some of these comments and hope they help: 115V / 60Hz: The refrigerator will not run on dc current. You would need an inverter. 2nd reply: Startup wattage is about 840 while running wattage is probably around 200. So you would need an inverter with 1000 watts peak rating to be safe. Wattage is 840 startup, running wattage probably around 200, maybe 250. I don't see an EER on it, but the estimated annual power use(you see that on all appliances) is 342 KWH. 3rd reply: The label on the compressor says 7 amps starting current. It doesn't say anything about running current, but with motors of this type it could be between 1.25 and 2.3 amps. I would guess it should be less than 2.
Question:	What is the cubic ft. size of the freezer
Answer:	It's pretty small. Maybe 2 cubic feet. And the little freezer door just sort of hangs closed, it doesn't close tight. But the freezer does freeze things, just not a lot of things.

I ordered it with a great price I found myself in a nasty scam business where amazon never gave me an answer, the people used a company from Brazil , company that I contacted and put on notice of the situation !!! that will give you a fake tracking number that can be a package of chinese seeds ! I recommend buy locally and forget about freezers in Amazon !!!
