Answer:	While holding the black canister, push down a little and turn it counter-clockwise. It's a little tricky but should pop right out.

Answer:	yes, I guess it should. I regularly use it to grind corriander, cumin seeds, cardamon seeeds and many other spices.

Answer:	I don't know if Waring makes a 220V/50Hz model. If your client decides to run it off a transformer you should note that there is a fairly high probability that the motor would burn out before its time and it will operate at a slower speed with less grinding force. Furthermore, if your client runs it on a converter (not an actual transformer), the same results as with a transformer, but also a higher risk of the converter would catch on fire. My recommendation it that you contact Waring, directly and see if they make a 220V/50Hz model.

Answer:	It's made in the USA and easier to clean than a vitamix because the waring container is much larger. Though not as easy as a traditional blender which completely disassembles.

Question:	I've read about people using their same vitamix for 30 years. Can anyone attest to this type of durability with the Waring
Answer:	Currently using a 40 year old Waring Futura II to make my smoothies for my wife in 2014 ! It has 4 pulse speeds and 4 regular speeds. You can still get parts for these too. (They still sell on Ebay for $35. Vintage vitamix blenders all had square containers like Blendtec because Waring had the patent on the round containers !) Frank Waring invented the Blender in 1936 . Hard to tell me about longevity; this people are the "originators" of the blender and they make a superior product today. My next purchase will be another Waring blender tha is made in USA. It served my parents well for their lifetime and was passed on to me. Only reason I am considering an upgrade because I want to chop frozen items into my smoothies now.

Question:	Can you wash the stainless jar in the dishwasher
Answer:	I don't see why not, although as it's measurably shorter than most blender jars, it's very easy to rinse out. Also, I found that the stainless is much easier to clean than plastic or glass jars.

Question:	Does this blender contain ptfe and has problem with black specks
Answer:	i don't know about the ptfe but i fully understand the water test. a huge concern of mine and i'm happy to say that this blender is clean.
Question:	How efficient is this bar blender at making smoothies
Answer:	i haven't used ice but i've used frozen fruit and it takes roughly 15 seconds to get a good mix. i'm guessing ice would have similar outcomes.
