Answer:	No crank, sorry. But extremely easy to use.
Question:	Does this have a plastic liner inside of the wood
Answer:	It doesn't have a plastic liner but IT IS coated with a plastic spray. You MUST soak the bucket for 90 minutes in warm water first

Answer:	Not too noisy but I thought it would be a little nicer for what I paid.

Answer:	With what? The interior of the outside bucket is all wood.

Question:	is the mixing paddle supposed to turn? mine doesn't seem to do that, just the container turns
Answer:	Just read and review booklet instructions and it states the bowl and not the paddle turns. I also thought I had a defective ice cream machine until I re-read directions. Cuisinart should really print in boldface this fact. Would definitely save much aggravation. I love my Cuisinart ice cream machine !!!
Question:	does this make good yogurt
Answer:	I make frozen yogurt with this every week, and my recipe is SO easy: 1 quart VANILLA (not plain) yogurt, 1 pkg thawed frozen cherries (or berries of any type). No salt, no sugar, no milk, no nothin' else. Turn it on for 20 minutes and you're done. Yummy frozen yogurt. Other favorite flavors, always beginning with VANILLA yogurt: 1) coconut and chopped pecans; 2) 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips
Question:	Can I make ice cream using this machine without eggs?, and does the maker come with a recipe book
Answer:	I stopped using eggs because for some reason, the ice cream would freeze too hard. I now use: 1 cup cream, 2 cup half-and-half, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 teaspoon vodka (helps the freezing), pinch of salt, pinch of cinnamon. It's great.
Question:	As soon as my ice cream maker is full it continually roams around the counter what's up with that

Answer:	If you cook them longer, they are crispy. This one doesnt have the traditional time. You have to time it yourself
Question:	Is this definitely not teflon inside? What is the inside made of
Answer:	Teflon is a trademark for PTFE. I am not sure if this coating is Teflon brand, but it definitely is PTFE or some other non-stick coating. Nothing sticks to it, after probably 100 waffles I have made on it.
Question:	How do you clean the vertical waffle makers
Answer:	It was a total mess to clean and to use. It did not do what it claimed to do. We replaced it on Christmas Day and celebrated as it flew into the garbage can.
