Answer:	I purchased both, 450 for my brother and 456 for me. The differences are: - The book: 456 has more recipes - The lid: 456 has a better lid, easier to use IMO - Usage: this one is the most annoying/ different. In 450, when using the machine, you need to stablize the cup by spinning it, "clicking" into their locks. But 456 gets rid of that, just push your cup onto the machine, and start blending. It doesn't have to same stability as in 450, shaking crazily when blending, which is a major disappointment. Hope this helps.

Answer:	While I have not made mashed potatoes or hummus, yet - however - I have made smoothies daily with chopped ( hard) vegetables ( like carrots), chopped frozen fruits with the Peele ( plus other sticky ingredients like almond butter and honey ) and I only use 1 cup of almond milk - and My smoothIes are PERFECTION! I have also blended 2lbs of ground meat ( with other things) and only used 1 cup of water and the result was the consistency of a thick pudding. Answer:	Hello! No, there are no go-cups for the Philips Kitchen Blender (HR3868/90).

Answer:	Only 110 volt only .
Question:	What type of warranty is included. I've seen comments,both good and bad, about adding frozen fruit or ice and it breaking
Answer:	I'v had this blender since March. Use it almost every day for smoothies without ice. It's only been used with ice a few times. No problems yet. I don't remember what kind of warranty it has.
Question:	Is it compatible with regular mouth or wide mouth mason jar
Answer:	I do not think so. The base has a special tool such that it is part of, though separable from, the jar, so I am not sure that a mason jar would attach properly.

Answer:	Pretty much, yeah, it did for me. I don't remember trying to put anything together except for the general assembly of it because they package everything in the safest way.

Question:	Do the cups fit in automobile cup holders
Answer:	Larger then they look I do not think they will fit in most standard cup holders.
Question:	So the blade is 3 different ones, that is unremoveable

Answer:	Instructions say not to puree hot foods, and in my experience it will expand and potentially overflow. Using an immersion blender is the way to puree hot soup.
