Answer:	The higher the wattage the faster the unit will heat up but it will be at the cost of burning more energy. For stir fry you may want to start at 1800 then drop down to 1300 if possible. Also with stir fry I believe you will lose more of the nutrients at a higher wattage setting, however the higher wattage the less amount of cooking time will be required.
Question:	Will cast iron pans scratch the surface easily
Answer:	If you could be gentle you could cook without scratching, but you just can't. Our cooktop is scratched but it's more durable than you would think and you have to look hard to see the scratches. Ours has been used at every meal for months now and has been a great investment for us. The only advice for cast iron or stainless that I could give Don't drop it on the cooktop
Question:	I don't have a stove available to me, and I was considering buying this to substitute. Would regular cooks who love food as much as I do recommend it
Answer:	My wife who is a gourmet cook loves using it. Remember that only certain pans will work with this product (i.e. iron clad, steel, etc). But there is a lot of cookware that is available for it or that will work. I have bought this product for a couple of friends that use this instead of their Viking stove because it works well and is an easy cleanup. It's also great for slow/low cooking, but you will have to re-start it every 2 hours due to it's automatic timer shutoff.
Question:	How big of a pot can you put on it
Answer:	The bottom of the pot (the part that contacts the cooktop surface) can be up to 11". If More than that the pot will touch the front control panel which is flush with the rest of the surface. The control panel is made of a different plastic and looks like it might not tolerate contact with a hot pan. I have used a 15" flat bottom wok but the bottom diameter was only 9". Also, the induction coil is only about 6 1/2" diameter so large bottom cookware would get less heat at the perimeter--a condition that might not be convenient depending on what you're cooking.

Answer:	I have the Ovente BG44S model with one burner. It has a small fan located at the back that makes as much noise as a typical desktop PC. I'm not sure about the BG1202S; but I'll bet that model has a fan as well. Also, you must wait for the fan to finish cooling the burners before you cut the power; the fan will shut off automatically after a few minutes, then you can turn off the power switch. If you cut the power before the fan finishes its cycle, it may reduce the life of your electric cooktop. I've had mine for almost 2 years without problems.

This could be a Fire Hazard - its a hot plate for cooking, folks dont list these correct - Suggest a flat surface unit and Low Wattage. - the higher the Watts, the Hotter the surface gets. You definitely done need a 110 plug for candle wax. Be safe z. Look at the Ceramic Heat elements they are less expensive - around $11 - $14.00

Note carefully: 1. That no mention was made what the non-stick coating was made of, and 2. Lana said that if you're leery of non-stick coating, then go with the Omni, and not with the Omni PLUS which has the non-stick coating.

Answer:	It doesn’t smoke. I put a piece of bread on the tray when I baked the bacon in it the first time because I read that it would. (I cooked 20 oz of bacon by cutting the pieces in half and putting them in the rotisserie basket. 1/4 of the bacon at a time.). The second time I air fried it and didn’t put bread and it didn’t smoke.

Question:	I know it says they are non-stick, but are they grippy enough not to slide around
Answer:	They are slick, that is the idea of nonstick. But they extend almost completely front to back,and even go up each side roughly 2 inches. I like the product, and recommend it.
Question:	Do these rest on the bottom of an electric oven or on the bottom rack? This is important. There is not a bottom element
Answer:	It is best to put it on the bottom rack. Most of the time the element for electric ovens is directly underneath the oven floor where in some ovens temperatures can reach 700-800 degrees. If your oven is one of those that reaches those temperatures it has the possibility of damaging the liners if placed on the oven floor. Even with the liner on your bottom rack you do not lose the use of that rack. Just place whatever your cooking directly on top of the liner.
Question:	Have these been tested and approved for homes with birds? Nonstick in heat releases a toxic fume & can kill pet birds
Answer:	I would not use ANY Teflon coated object if I had birds. Because birds have extremely sensitive respiratory systems, bird owners must take precautions to protect them. Cooking fumes, smoke and odors that have little or no effect on people can seriously sicken and even kill birds, often quite quickly. Cooking fumes from any type of unattended or overheated cookware, not just nonstick, can damage a bird's lungs with alarming speed. This is why bird owners should take steps to protect their pets, such as keeping their birds out of the kitchen, never leaving cookware unattended, never allowing pots and pans to overheat, and making sure that their kitchen is properly ventilated at all times.
Question:	Can you really place this directly on the oven "floor" or bottom? It won't melt? I have a gas oven
Answer:	Cannot see any reason you would not place the mat on the bottom of a gas oven. Again, my only concern with a gas oven is that if the design of the oven had venting holes you would possible need to cutout holes for vents. Mine are on the very bottom of my electric oven and so far not affected by temperature of oven. I can see that they would work on a removable oven shelf but not intended for that purpose.

Answer:	No, the door has not fogged up for me and I use this anywhere from 20-100 times a day for work.
Question:	does the interior Light stay on while cooking AND when you open the door
Answer:	Don't know if there are any vents but I can tell you that the glass in the door has a tendency to steam up. Once it does, it takes a while for the moisture to dissipate. I've never seen this happen in a microwave before.Please keep in mind that this is not truly a "stainless" body. Just painted to look like one.
