Answer:	It may or may not “tame” it, but is will definitely help keep it in good condition. After being on this journey for 4 years with mostly 3C hair, I have learned that products do more to tame your hair than conditioner, depending on your texture and your definition of tame. Your natural texture should first and foremost be in great condition, so Heaven in Hair is a great start. Know that it takes a lot of trial and error with products to get your hair to be the best it can be. Products that I dissed 3 or 4 years ago, I now love because I was not using them properly for my hair type. So don’t toss if not successful at first, save them, revisit later and your opinion may change. REMINDER, just because it’s perfect for someone else’s hair, it may not work for your hair. Answer:	First.. I just looked at the Wen prices on Amazon and they are selling 16oz. bottles for ~$30 dollars. This product is TWO 32oz. bottles for ~$60 (32oz shampoo AND 32 oz conditioner), it is half the price of Wen. I never thought the zero-lather No-Poo shampoo was supposed to be hydrating, I was always told it just didn't strip your scalp of essential oils (like Wen claims). If you do have very dehydrated hair then the conditioner does a great job.. and like another responder I also leave the conditioner in as a leave in. I also like that the conditioner does not have any dimethicone in it. Apparently there isn't any "harmful side effects" of dimethicone (silicone) but I noticed that conditioners with dimethicone (almost every conditioner you can buy) make my hair shiny but don't hydrate my hair and leave it dry. The devacurl conditioner actually hydrates my hair and my dry ends don't feel as damaged, plus my hair is still shiny. But maybe this is just me and my hair type - I have wavy, thick, dark brown hair. Keep in mind this shampoo-conditioner set was created for curly hair, which tends to dry out more easily than straight hair because of it's structure. I've never tried Wen but looking at the ingredients makes me stay away - EDTA and dimethicone are some things among many other ingredients that I try to keep out of my personal care products, but again, that's just my own opinion.

Answer:	Yes and for me it works better than using it as a mask. My hair is a medium thickness so don't be fooled that it's only for really thick hair. I don't use a lot and I use more on drier portions of my hair. Truth be told, while I use many of the Deva products, I could probably just use this one to maintain my curls. The key is that it draws in and keeps the moisture in your hair and that will keep the curl in check.
