It is a non-woven homogenous mat of proprietary composition wool fibers. Use on a water-resistant surface is recommended. The scales of the wool fiber with their waxy coating (Lanolin) stops water penetrating the fibers themselves but allows absorption of water vapor into the mat. This makes wool water-replant while at the same time allows water vapor absorption. Water vapor exists in the air as moisture and these mats will/can absorb some depending on the amount present in the air. We therefore recommend using these mats on a water-resistant surface or using a water-proof barrier between the mat and the surface you want to protect. Steam from an iron will also go through the mat as most irons these days use pressurized steam and the mat is a porous product.

Instructions for using the Silicone Egg Cooker

1.Assemble the silicone pods and wash them with hot water before the first use. Dry them out with a cloth or napkin before use

2.Spray or add cooking oil to the silicone pods (use the provided silicone brush).

3.Crack the egg into the pod without the shell. You can add one jumbo egg or 2 small ones. Do not over pour the silicone pod.

4.Close the tops screwing them nice and tide

5.Boil the eggs for 10-15 min in a regular kitchen pot using the egg pods holder for best results (You can check them if they are ready by taking them out and basically touch the bottom of the silicone pod.

6.Take them out, unscrew the red tops and gently squeeze the bottom of the silicone pod so you can get the egg out. (You can help yourself by using the provided silicone spoon). The eggs should come out of the pod easy with no hassle.

7.Enjoy your hard boiled eggs, egg whites, small omelets, deviled eggs, egg salads....

8.Wash the egg cooker set hard boiled with hot water or place it into the dish washer.
