Helpful Tips!

1.We recommend is to leave the attachment head a little loose while grinding. If you tighten the head too much it won’t allow the shaft to move freely which to me puts stress on your mixer motor.

2. In order for an easy and stress free grinding session, you must make sure your meat is very cold or even partially frozen AND your attachments are very cold as well. We recommend putting the grinder and meat in the freezer for 30 minutes before you use it to keep the meat from heating up on the grinding prices.



NOTE!!!

No matter what you do Don’t ever dishwash meat grinders always hand wash them. And make sure to get it all the way dry before storing it will prolong the life of the item.

Answer:	By Brandon K on September 15, 2012After maybe grinding up 20 or so pounds of pork, the machine started to make internal noises and ceased to work. After pulling it apart I found cheap plastic gears that were stripped of their teeth. I can't find replacement parts online and I emailed manufacture no response yet. My advise spend some the extra cash and buy a STX, because that is what I will be doing soon. I'm sure if I get another set of gears it will only be a matter of time before they strip too.

How to Make Sausage

Highly recommend following steps to stuff sausage:

No Need to Grind Meat double times, Only One Time! From grinding meat directly to stuffing sausage at the same time.

1. Cut raw meat to short narrow cubes
2. Mix Sausage seasonings and other ingredients together with the cut meat (from 1st step)
3. Freeze the Mixed meat with seasonings(from 2nd step) for a while, or just put it aside for a few minutes to let water drained.
4. Then put the waterless or partially frozen meat on food tray to stuff sausage directly.

For those of you who are not familiar with Kubbes, they are Traditional Middle Eastern Dish comprised of a cylinder-like shell made from meat which lamb and bulghar wheat. The center is then stuffed with a spiced minced lamb filling and the ends are sealed to form the Kubbe which is then Deep-Fried.

We have designed a new type/style of Meat Pusher for stuffing your raw meat down into the grinder.



Although this grinder will normally just pull the meat down into the auger to be ground, you can just use the palm of your hand on the top of this pusher instead of gripping it with your hands which can get tiresome.

Question:	are the gears steel
Answer:	I never had it get warm enough to have to cool it down. I've used it to grind up two elk all at one time, so like around two hundred pounds of hamburger or enough to fill two large coolers, without any issue. The grinder probably ran almost constant for three to four hours with the only break being to change out the catch container, clean out the machine, or dice up more meat. The tendons and gristle tend to wind up in the grinder and it has to be cleaned out occasionally, which takes a few minutes. We usually have an assembly line where we are constantly feeding in more, grinding and packaging, all at the same time, so once we start grinding it is usually all done at one time. This machine has worked well for me as I have had it for several years now and cut up numerous elk and deer for myself and friends, with no issues. I am very pleased, however; I did see a post about someone saying they put the parts of the machine into a dishwasher and it tarnished the metal. I always wash all the parts by hand and let them dry naturally.
Question:	I want to make cat food. Will it grind chicken and turkey bones? I intend to cut the bones into smaller pieces and feed through with the meat
Answer:	stainless steel
Question:	All serious pate recipes specify plate size, not simply coarse, med, or fine. What are plate hole diameters? I need 1/8, 1/4, and 3/8 inch plates
Answer:	I would not recommend this to grind up bone, but I have never tried. I feel that anything other than cartilage will be too much.
Question:	I need to grind meat & bone, primarily chicken quarters for raw dog food. Will this product support bone grinding
Answer:	Dishwasher detergents are very harsh and will etch some metals permanently. The damage is done, the only way I know is to buy new parts and hand wash. In the future maybe read the manual? Just sayin..

Answer:	The actual OD is 10 mm which is 3/8". This is the narrowest tube made for a standard size sausage stuffer that uses the common 2 1/16" base diameter tube.

Answer:	Measure the bottom of one of your other tubes. If it is 2 1/16 or extremely close then it will fit.
Question:	whats the plate's diameter
Answer:	Not familiar with those stuffers but, This tube has a 2 1/16 base. My problem was not the base but the Conical section from the base to the actual 3/8 tube. I had to carve out the closing cap to get it on. As I could not use the washer to seal the cap to the jerky gun now, I built up the tube base with Teflon tape to increase the diameter and prevent meat from coming out through the cap threads. If you're not handy, be careful with sizing. Might want to contact the manufacturer of your stuffer. Make sure the bases are compatible. When looking for a tube, Most were less than 2". I needed a 2 1/4 diameter with a 1/4 inch flat rim. The gun I use (1 Lb Bass-Pro) has no 3/8 attachment so I had to improvise or buy another Jerky gun. No easy answer here, Sorry.

Answer:	I'm not sure if it will, the outside measurement of the base of sausage tube is 2".. Keep in mind this 3/8 tube is small, I use it on my 10lb sausage stuffer for pepperoni and it takes a lot of effort to push pepperoni meat through the stuffer, it may work but might not.

How to Use?

1.Assemble the Meat Grinder.

2.Choose a no water and smooth counter and place the meat grinder on the edge,press it to expel the air from the suction cup, then turn down the knob to make the suction base suck on it .The ceramic or glass counter top is best work for the powerful suction base.

3.Place meat in the funnel (not hard frozen meat), place the pusher on top and turn the crank clockwise.

4.Roll back four times or more in the opposite direction when the handle of the meat grinder is very hard to shake with force.

Notes:

1.Insert the knife part in right direction (edge facing the grinding plate) as the pictures shows.

2.Please grind the meat in clockwise direction.

3.Wash thoroughly in warm soapy water before first use and wipe with dry cloth.

Answer:	It will cut your shaft but you may burn threw one or two disks to do it. a chop saw with a 12" to 14 " blade would be better if you are cutting a lot of hard shafts.
