Answer:	The answer, like most things in life, is "it depends." The quality of the water you are using is definitely the biggest factor. All tap water has impurities in it. Where I live, the water has noticeable chlorine content. In Florida, the tap water is notorious for smelling of sulphur, other places it is known for other things. Activated charcoal is effective in removing at least 81 Chemical (See list here https://iaspub.epa.gov/tdb/pages/treatment/treatmentOverview.do?treatmentProcessId=2074826383). Chlorine is one of the biggest culprits in creating taste problems. Activated Charcoal removes about 95% of the chlorine. The best test I can suggest is to brew without the filters for about a week and then switch back to the filters. See if you notice a difference in flavor and clarity of the coffee. If not, then don't worry about it. I use them because I did that test and I noticed a difference in the flavor of the coffee. It was not as smooth and it was definitely more bitter.

Answer:	Yes, I have the Keurig 2.0 k200 and this product fits and works in the brewer. I don't know why it doesn't list compatibility, but it appears from the Keurig site that the k200 is no longer sold by Keurig and perhaps it's not listed as compatible because it will no longer be available?
