Answer:	The tip of the nozzle is about 1 inch in diameter. I fits into that little circular valve in a cars gas tank filler neck if that helps.

Answer:	No screw, it fits on the pour spout on the metal gas can with a snug fit. You want to push it down past the metal lip so when you pour it is less likely to drip on you.

Answer:	If the Eagle gas can you own has a threaded spout then it will not work. The can this funnel is designed for has a smooth spout without threads and the funnel slips down over the spout very snugly about 1 1/2 inches. You could call the Eagle company to verify. Their sales/customer service number is 304-737-3171. They may be able to tell you what type of funnel would work on your can. BTW, the new Eagle gas cans are the best on the market. They remind me of how most things used to be made in America before Bill Clinton passed NAFTA and opened up the market here for Chinese junk to be imported in and American middle class jobs to be sent overseas which is why the country is now in a depression.

Question:	my understanding is you can't use galvanized steel with diesel, is the can galvanized inside
Answer:	The sulfur in the diesel reacts with the zinc in the galvanization, and the two go into a suspension in the fluid, which then builds up on many critical engine components, like fuel pumps, injectors, etc. These two have also been found to combine into zinc sulphate, which is sorta like a gel, and gums everything up, blocking the flow of fuel. Diesel should never be stored in a galvanized steel container, consult your equipment manufacturer, I’ll bet they agree.

Answer:	Plastic fill handle, metal can handle.. it's built cheaper than the justrite can for the same money.

Answer:	It is the lever that opens it at 8" but when flopped down the yellow plastic handle short end pivots up about a half inch higher. With the funnel in place the height is 9 1/2" and overall length is 17 1/5". For everyday use the funnel is miserable to remove or install especially when the can is full. For emergency use carrying the funnel separate would be reasonable if you have a flat well lit place to put it on without spilling gas, when you need it.

Answer:	Mine presurizes too. When the pressure equalizes when you open it, you can hear it. However, I am not concerned becuase it has a flame arrestor on it and no fuel spits out.

Answer:	You can do it: once it's as empty as you can get it with the conventional pouring angle, SLOWLY rotate the can without removing the funnel from your car's gas tank. It will reposition the can and the rest of the gas will flow out. You just slowly rotate it 180 degrees (in a circular motion looking from the sky down...like clockwise). I don't know if that is how it's designed but it works.

Answer:	The safety funnel pops off relatively easily for storage. It is a touch more snug at first use, but after putting it on and taking it off several times it becomes a bit smoother. Once you do it one or two times you will get the hang of it.

Answer:	Not practically that I have been able to find. That seems to be the downside of this funnel. My screen has come in handy and has filtered out some 'gunk.' But it fits precariously and I've always been afraid I'd lose it. As Wayne said, perhaps you can write the company. I've looked and looked for replacement screens elsewhere on the internet just to have some 'spares.' (I have 3 of these funnels - 1 for diesel, 2 for gas) I have not been able to find anything other than some companies that make such mesh & screen discs, but minimum orders are $100 or more. It'd be great if anyone discovers how to replace these. Regular 'screen' seems to fall apart when cut that small & is not as dense of a filter. Maybe epoxy it?Alternative: buy a nozzle for your source fuel can from EZ-Pour ... they make them (at least some) with strainers built into the nozzle so it is helpful even if you don't have this screen. (obviously the screening is limited to what goes through the nozzle of the source, so it diminishes the funnel's versatility. Since I use mine for fuel only, this is my solution.)
