Answer:	Oh yes! Very cute and lovely item. However, place on top dishwasher rack only. Hope this helps.

Answer:	We use a drop of water before grinding our daughter’s pills, so it makes a paste... but I HAVE accidentally ground it up without the water once or twice, and the powder did not seem to stick. About the same as using our old glass mortar and pestle- just harder to see the powder because this one is white. Hope that helps!

Answer:	It holds about 2 oz, or a quarter cup.

Answer:	If you got out all the seeds first, maybe, but then, you wouldn't really need to, and you don't want to turn your smoke into dust, right? Even if you are using a bong, having your pot too fine sometimes causes it to clear the bowl before it is all burned. I would suggest breaking the buds up with your fingers and using a plate (we used to use album covers) to separate the seeds from the smoke. Like your panning for gold, eh? If you end up grinding seeds in with your smoke, it's going to taste nasty. Trust me on this. Another way to go is to buy a Maryjane marihuana mill, a plastic device which is supposed to de-seed your pot. Never used one myself, but they look like they will work. As for the small mortar and pestle, I bought it for crushing pills for my animals. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Smooth, but not glazed or shiny like the outside surface... Definitely not rough in a grainy or gritty way, just not glazed. The bottom 1/3 or so of the stick part (sorry - I never remember which is the mortar and which is the pestle ðŸ¤") has the same unglazed finish.

Answer:	It's pretty accurate. The mortar is about 2 inches in diameter. I use it to grind pills for a spouse with trouble swallowing.

Answer:	Not really, you can brush it out with your fingertip. I use this for medication for a kitty, and have to crush three different medications together in the mortar, so far have had no problem with the powder sticking to the bowl, I just brush them out with my finger.

Answer:	It will work for that, but understand that this item is very small and shallow. At best, you would have to put very small pieces of avacado in this, each at a time, to mash it.

Answer:	I had no problem gripping the pestle while grinding. I'm a size small woman. The pestle measures 5 1/2" from tip to end, the depth of inside the bowl is about 2 1/2", the top of inside bowl measure 3 3/4" cross. This should give you some idea if it fits your hand. My problem with the set is that it doesn't grind pepper corn and garlic very well. See my other posting.
