Answer:	If you broke the bottle, buy another. Otherwise you just screw off the top and put in more salt.

Answer:	I believe that the top of the grinder...the part you would open....might be plastic. It is very hard plastic I would guess.

Answer:	No, you cannot. You would need a specific grinding mechanism with an anti-clogging spiral that shuffles the salt in the reservoir in order to use wet sea salt. This particular grinder does not have this. Albeit, this is an awesome grinder for peppercorns or dry sea salt.
Question:	Can you use other dried herbs like parskey or basil
Answer:	Yes, you can use those and any other herbs just as long as they are completely dry to avoid clumping.

Answer:	Ok, I dug down in the recycle bin for the box so that I could verify that for you. There is an address in Lohne, Germany on the box, but indeed, it says "Made in China" The amazon seller is a family business in the USA, who provides lots of contact info in case you have problems. I love this set. Very nice quality, and it's glass, not plastic. I do try to buy USA, but hey, I would buy this again, absolutely. It's great. Grinds both salt and pepper just the way we like it. Answer:	Water gets stuck in the grinder part. If you must wash the grinder, I suggest disassembling all the parts and air dry.

Answer:	The plastic support ring is just to hold the metal grinder mechanism and spring in place and does not move. The salt and pepper grains, prior to grinding, do flow through the support ring. The mechanism used is very common and does not affect the salt and pepper grinding process.

Question:	How do i contact latent epicure if i have a problem with the grinders
Answer:	Did you solved it? Mine also have it's blue light always on. If you put it on operational position it starts grinding and the lights still on. Positioning it upright and the grinding stops but the lights still on.
Question:	How wide is the tray that comes with it
Answer:	I believe so. But they are very easy to use. You remove the bottoms to fill. Just about a half turn and they open easily. Batteries are in the top part and that is just a quick twist to open as well. Adjusting the coarseness is done at the very tip by turning clockwise for finer grind
Question:	What is the holding tray for? A good quality mill should not leak. Is it just to hold the units or does it get dirty

- For optimal performance and power use brand name alkaline non-rechargeable AA LR6 batteries.

Answer:	I would say yes. The unit is sealed until the item is tilted and the grinder starts operating.

Answer:	Do not know long term effect - have used this exact model for a number of years and have only had to replace when the grinder mech finally gave out.

Answer:	No it won't. Try a microplane with whole nutmeg, works great.

Answer:	I haven’t refilled it yet since it came completely filled with peppercorns. There is a screw -open cap at the bottom near the “ thumbprints” where you grind the peppercorns. It looks fairly easy to refill. A nice feature is there are five different grinds, from very fine to extra coarse.

Answer:	I don't have a salt grinder, but my pepper grinder is all metal while the salt grinder appears to have a clear side to it.

Answer:	The grinder does not come with salt but all salt is gluten free. Gluten is a product of wheat.
Question:	I ordered a second oxo good grips salt mill and it is too difficult to turn, it hurts my hands. Has the design changed? My 1 yr old mill is smooth
Answer:	No issues with mine. You might try removing some salt and changing coarseness first couple times. May have big salt flake stuck.
Question:	What is the difference between the salt grinder and the pepper grinder
Answer:	I have both the pepper and salt grinders. The internal workings of the two are the same - they both have ceramic grinders. The only difference, other than the salt coming pre-filled with salt and the pepper with pepper, is the ring around the OXO badge on the top of the grinder. The salt is white and the pepper is black.
