Answer:	It’s metal. I’ve had this one for over a year and it’s still going strong. And I use it a lot.

Answer:	I am not familiar with cocoa nibs. All I know is they are a crushed pod so must be pretty small. And that is what you need as this grinder is for tiny seeds only. And mine does not grind, it is more of a crushing, smearing action. It works well on oily seeds and dry seeds. Hope that helps.

Answer:	Nonstick sprays contain a mixture of what basically amounts to oil and water, which do not mix. In order to suspend these items within the container, products like PAM use an emulsifying agent like lecithin. The lecithin is what reacts with the nonstick surface and it does ruin it after a time. I get around this by putting olive oil in a spray bottle. Hope this helps!

Answer:	Hi Liv - thanks for asking. The Zip Grinders can grind almost anything. They are best suited for semi-dry to dry herbs, spices and large seeds, but can certainly grind fresh herbs as well. If you are grinding basil or oregano or other fine herbs, I suggest drying the herbs overnight or for a few days for the best results.

The Kozo is a really good one too but it breaks the herb up little bit finer. I think the kozo also has a o-ring for the keef catcher so it’s lil bit more sturdy. But this is still a very nice grinder especially for the price!
