How to use?

Step 1: Raise the handle of the cutter to make the pushing plate is away from the cutting plate fully.

Step 2: Insert a potato into the cutter lengthwise and slowly lower the handle until the potato is held securely between the pushing plate and cutting plate.

Step 3: Push down on the handle and the potato will be forced out through the bottom of the cutting plate.

Answer:	It does and works great for the first several times... then the suction cup loses it's grip. This makes it quite dangerous to use.

Answer:	Well, I guess you could use it that way - push the potato out a little ways, and slice off the size of cube you want. But it is not designed to do that - it's just supposed to make long fries for regular potatoes, sweet potatoes and carrots.

Answer:	A smaller sweet potato, yes (but it still takes some force)...anything above a smaller sized sweet potato is very, very difficult. I’ve tried numerous times and the potato typically gets stuck in the blade due to how dense it is. On the flip side, it is very easy cut a regular potato - in fact, the fries come out great!

Answer:	I'm a 61 year old women with arthritis and I use it regularly. If your potato is to big just cut it down and the potato goes right through. I put a plate in front of mine to catch the fries. It doesn't move on you so it does make it effortless. It's very easy to clean. You just need to wash it right away so nothing gets hard on it. The blades are very sharp. Answer:	It barely fits my IPAD Pro 12.9" with the keyboard attached. It seems a little less secure, though, because the indent to hold the pad is about 1/2" wide. My Ipad with the case is almost exactly 1/2" thick. If you have one of those mega-kid proof cases, it might be too wide and it might pop out. Question:	is this dishwasher safe
Answer:	I believe you are correct, the red mark indicates the magnets north pole. I have purchased several of these, some of different dimensions and shapes. Some have red marks and others do not. I think the manufacturer uses the marks to facilitate shipping, but that is just a guess.
Question:	Is it Dishwasher safe
Answer:	Your device should be light enough to hold with 2-112lb magnets no problem. If you recess/sink your magnet into the .5" material it will reduce the distance of magnetic pull to the metal plate getting a much stronger hold and possibly get away with using a single magnet. These are cup magnets and hold best directly to metal with high iron content and lose quite a bit if hold when you put material between them or use them in a vertical application, I believe it's between 30-50% loss of holding power when used vertically and for a .5" of material you will probably loose an equal or greater amount depending on iron content in your plate. Dont hold me to it; Magnets like these could possibly damage an electronic device, but with the weakened magnetic pull from the wood combined with the plate on the back of the device i believe should dissipate any damaging effects.
Question:	Is it easy to clean
Answer:	Sure! But, the strength of the magnet will probably exceed the bonding capacity of the glue, especially after repeated use.
Question:	Has anyone used it to cut cheese? Cheddar in particular
Answer:	I am not sure, but the best bet for you is to find out about what is faa allows, all I know is neodymium even at # 20 they could be very strong.
