Answer:	DKB changed the manufacturing process for the markings on the mill many years ago so all mills in the marketplace should be updated with the etched version. Please note that the updated laser etched markings look similar to the old printed version, this was just a processing change which made the markings much more durable. Answer:	I don't remember if when I bought mine if the 2paks was stated as it is now. I received 2, one set, not 2 sets or 4. Call Amazon customer service and ask. But I can tell you they work great and even just 2 is worth the price.

Answer:	Definitely, we do recommend that you use a light dish detergent and warm water. Wooden kitchen products in general aren't dishwasher safe and similarly, can't be soaked in water for a long time as that can create mold and cracking. Answer:	Did you solved it? Mine also have it's blue light always on. If you put it on operational position it starts grinding and the lights still on. Positioning it upright and the grinding stops but the lights still on.

Answer:	I believe so. But they are very easy to use. You remove the bottoms to fill. Just about a half turn and they open easily. Batteries are in the top part and that is just a quick twist to open as well. Adjusting the coarseness is done at the very tip by turning clockwise for finer grind

Answer:	No they don’t come filled, but they are super easy to fill.

Answer:	You definitely need a very coarse salt!! Doesn’t necessarily have to be sea salt… Although, I haven’t seen anything other than sea salt coarse enough. Anything else will just fall out of the grinder..... If not using coarse sea salt you may have to adjust the opening of the grinder to ensure that the salt you choose does not just fall out.
