Question:	How do I adjust the grind size
Answer:	There's a set screw underneath where the pepper comes out and you can turn it left or right to adjust grind size.
Question:	can I grind Italian red pepper flakes with this mill
Answer:	I would say no. I have never tried it, but since you can't grind softer peppercorns, ie., red, white, then the pepper flakes would be soft and jam it up as well.
Question:	The given dimensions make no sense, does anybody have the real dimensions? 2.8”wide makes sense, It can’t be 11.2” and 9” high @ the same time
Answer:	The peppermill is 9 inches high and the base is 2and1/4 wide. I can tell you that this mill is very well made and I would highly recommend it.
Question:	Nothing holds the top 'cap'-part of the pepper mill in place and it moves around. Have I assembled it right
Answer:	There should be a small screw cap that would be inside the pepper mill to keep the handle in place. In fact, the tighter the cap, the finer the grind of pepper, and the looser the cap, the coarser the grind. So, after fitting the handle on the top of the mill, screw on the cap. I've had mine since 2004, and I've never had a jingle or other sound other than the grinding of the pepper.

Question:	Does this Pepper mill grind to a very fine pepper
Answer:	Usually fine grind . Hard to get coarse grind but I’m okay with that. There are ways to modify this but you need to be fairly skilled. Check out previous reviews for exactly how to do this. I won’t change anything about mine after 25 + years. It does exactly what I want. Remember, fresh peppercorns have oils.
Question:	Is tarnish a problem as the mills age
Answer:	Yes mine tarnished after about 8-10 years. But the mechanism is still great. And personally I don't mind the tarnish. I've not tried cleaning it.

Answer:	It is loose when the chamber is empty. As soon as you fill it with peppercorns you will feel the resistance when you turn the handle. The adjustment for the grind is on the bottom of the pepper mill.

Answer:	No. The salt is corrosive and will react to the brass. They have a specific salt mill which is plastic lined.

Answer:	Metal, this grinder works very well. It does not grind as course as I would like, but it will grind a large amount of pepper in a short amount of time. Very much worth the investment.

Answer:	No! It does not. Needs the bottom cup attached to stand. But the BEST mill ever. Have tried so many and this one is by far our favorite.

Answer:	There is an adjustment screw. I'd describe the coarsest setting to be medium. If you are looking for "cracked" pepper, this is not the mill for you. However, the removable cap on the bottom is a great feature, and I love this mill.

Answer:	Yes they would. You would have to use them with the inferior compartment removed. I leave them on until I fill them with the already grinded coffee. In your case, you could use them like that, and fill the compartments with salt/pepper, or without the inferior compartment, and grind the pepper over the food.

Answer:	You mean the one in the middle? There are two pieces that could be adjusted : the screw onthe bottom, to regulate the grind, and the one in the middle, to disassemble the apparatus in order to clean it.

Question:	The handle has completely broken off after 5 months of only occasional use, and I have NO recourse
Answer:	The handle on the mill I bought also broke after about six months. I was surprised and disappointed that it broke because I have a similar pepper mill that I've been using for more than ten years with no problems at all. My husband made a replacement out of brass, its exactly the same size and shape as the original. Mill now works fine.

Answer:	The web site says they are handcrafted in Greece. I have to believe that is where there are made. I have 4 mills. Two I have had for over 25 years. I use them all the time to grind peppercorns. I DO NOT use them for grinding salt. Salt is too caustic. I occasionally set them on a table and watch people grind away. They don’t know they have to remove the bottom.

Unscrew and remove top nut. Lift off top. Pour in peppercorns or sea salt. (Do not use salt crystals in your pepper mill. Salt will corrode the carbon steel pepper grinder mechanism.)

To Adjust

For a fine grind, turn the nut clockwise. For a coarser grind, turn the nut counterclockwise.

To Operate

Answer:	I purchased mine in 2009 on AMAZON for $51.95 so now it`s $ 6.00 less, this puts out a very large amount of whatever size grind you choose. Works as well as the day I got it and gets used every day. I also have the 6" salt mill that works just as well,you get what you pay for.

The 6-inch Magnum pepper mill is presently out of stock And third party vendors are taking advantage of the strong demand for this product by charging very high prices for the little bit of stock they have. Come July 2019, when both products will be widely available again, those third party vendors with their sky-high prices will fade to the background. Question:	Do they also make a salt mill? Now using Himalayan rock salt
Answer:	No, there is not a salt version of the 9-inch Magnum Plus pepper mill. There is a salt version of the 6-inch Magnum. It is available in white and grinds coarse sea salt. We do not recommend customers use Celtic, Grey, Himalayan or Pink salt in our mills as those salts are not fully dried and can gum up or clog the teeth of the ceramic grinding mechanism. Salt and Pepper grinders are designed to crush/grind dry, brittle material. "Moist" or not "damp" peppercorns or salt crystals are never recommended. Coarse sea salt is our recommendation - with the crystals about the size of a peppercorn. Hope this helps.
