Answer:	While I didn't try - I would doubt it. It clogged with just olive oil, my guess it would clog with something thicker like salad dressing.

Answer:	Wanted to let you know this for the future also: My first Misto sprayer succumbed to the clogging described by some reviewers and no amount of soaking of the nozzle would fix it so I bought another. No doubt for the first one I read and promptly forgot the washing instructions on the little enclosed leaflet, but I followed them for my clogged sprayer and it was unclogged in less than half a minute: "To clean, fill bottle halfway with hot tap water and add one drop of liquid detergent (I used Dawn). Pump 15 times and then pray for 15 seconds. To rinse, repeat sequence above with fresh hot water. It is recommended you clean your MISTO every 6-8 weeks." There you have it.
Question:	Sprays a mist so fine that most all of it goes up the vent, nothing on pan. Just when it starts to spray something out, pressure is gone. Ideas
Answer:	Chill the oil before using it in order to increase the viscosity. You can also temporarily turn off the vent or move the pan away from the cooktop before spraying. The latter suggestion is probably also the safest as atomized oil and open flames or extremely hot surfaces are not a good combination.
Question:	Has anyone tried using a plastic spray bottle instead? The kind that costs around $2 and has an adjustable nozzle from stream to mist
Answer:	YES!! I use a pint size spray bottle, BUT!! You have to add water to the oil to make it spray right. Say, 1/2 cup olive oil with 1/4 cup water. Step 1

Fill bottle halfway with oil, about 1/2 cup. The remaining space is needed for air pressure that builds when the cap is pumped. This allows MISTO to deliver a fine spray without chemical propellants.

Step 2

Replace and tighten screw collar. Put the cap back on. After each use of MISTO, loosen the screw collar to release any remaining air pressure in the container. This helps ensure an even, steady flow of oil is delivered to the nozzle the next time MISTO is used.

Step 3

Pump the cap 10 to 15 times, or until resistance is felt. This indicates sufficient air pressure exists to deliver a perfect spray. The less oil there is in the container, the more pumps will be needed to achieve resistance.

Step 4

Remove cap and press nozzle to spray. To deliver the most effective oil mist, hold the bottle vertically while spraying. Never tilt the bottle at an angle greater than 45 degrees while spraying.

How to Care & Clean MISTO

After each use of MISTO, loosen the screw collar to release any remaining air pressure in the container. This helps ensure an even, steady flow of oil is delivered to the nozzle the next time MISTO is used. Re-tighten the screw collar and store at room temperature until next use.

How to Clean:

Simply fill bottle with hot tap water and add one drop of liquid detergent. Pump the cap until resistance is felt, then spray into the sink.To rinse, repeat the sequence using fresh hot water. It is recommended you clean your MISTO every 6-8 weeks. This ensures the best performance since oil can build up in the sprayer.

Answer:	I know this sounds dismissive, but I experienced the same issue. Pump harder. I bought this set for my air fryer. I filled one with olive oil and the other with balsamic vinegar. Both of them worked the same way. I've now found that the "Squirt" or solid stream is good for localized spray (Inside a chili pepper) while the spray function (Pump harder) is great for coating items that I want to fry faster.

Answer:	The metal and aerosol components are all very sturdy. It is a glass canister so if you drop if on a concrete floor, likely it will shatter. That said, if you want plastic canister, it will warp over time and will not be dishwasher safe....and look terrible in 6 months. I like the clean look and washable glass canister.
Question:	Is this safe to use on non stick cookware
Answer:	I use it all the time with my non-stick cookware - if you cook with olive oil there is no difference other than you are spraying the oil rather than pouring. I've not encountered any issues or concerns.
Question:	Does it matter what kind of olive oil brand or whatever? which oil is best - there are mixed reviews about a fine mist or a stream
Answer:	I’ve owned it about 2 months. I use a truffle infused olive oil. And it works great. As for whether it sprays as a mist or a stream, I can do both(unintentionally) depending on how fast you press the button. If you press it slow, it comes out as a stream. If you press it fast, it comes out as a most. You’d expect the button to just press down a little, but it presses in pretty deep. That’s not bad, it’s just different than most sprayers. So you automatically will want to press it in just a little, but you have to press it down fully and fast and it works great. After a couple presses, you figure it out.
Question:	How much oil do you get in one mist
Answer:	It does not mist. It spits out a big blob. You would be better off putting your oil in a teaspoon and drizzling it on. This product is terrible.

Question:	I was able to get it open ... now it does not lock when closing so can twist it off. How do I get it to close securely
Answer:	I do not have that issue but I would change the angle of the bottle when you're holding it, more of an upright position. You could also make sure that the sprayer hole is clean/not blocked and do not fill the bottle up high; 1/4 to 1/2 max has been working fine for us.
