Helpful Tips!

1.We recommend is to leave the attachment head a little loose while grinding. If you tighten the head too much it won’t allow the shaft to move freely which to me puts stress on your mixer motor.

2. In order for an easy and stress free grinding session, you must make sure your meat is very cold or even partially frozen AND your attachments are very cold as well. We recommend putting the grinder and meat in the freezer for 30 minutes before you use it to keep the meat from heating up on the grinding prices.

Install Meat Grinder Correctly

• Install the meat grinder in the correct way helps to make it a long-term use
• All the parts in the head should be installed in order.
• Remember to put the cutting blade after the screw, cutting plates are the next step and the cap installation is the last
• The blade side (also named flat surface) outward when installing the meat grinder. Otherwise, it may keep clogging if wrongly placed the cutting blade.
• Take it apart and double check and re-install it if you find the meat grinder doesn't work properly.

Clean Meat Grinder Correctly

• Use running water to clean all the parts after using it. Running water is enough to sweep away all the remaining meat. Dry it with clothes. Reassemble it for next use.
• Remember that these head parts are made of aluminum and should not be put in the dishwasher. It may cause the coating discoloration due to aluminum oxidation. Only cutting blades and plates are made of stainless steel.

Use Meat Grinder Correctly

• As a Home Meat Grinder, SM-G33 works excellent in grinding all kinds of meats like porks, chicken, beef.
• Solid and sharp cutting blade is made of genuine stainless steel and these 3 fully stainless steel cutting plates in difference sizes allow you to grind ingredients. Also coming with 1 big sausage attachment to make sausage.
• However, it is a meat grinder which is not designed to grind something like chicken bone. Use it in a correct way and you will be happy with its outstanding performance.

Correct Installation of Sunmile Meat Grinder SM-G31 and Trouble-Shooting:

Trouble-Shooting:

• Screw wont stay in.

Resolution: Please follow the manual to install it. The head part should be the first one to install and lock it by tighten the knob. After that, put the feed screw inside, and then cutting blade, cutting plate and cap in sequence. Do NOT put the feed screw and cutting blade and plate in the head part firstly and then put the whole head part on the meat grinder as it may cause the above problem.

• It can't grind meat and let meat come out most of meat is stuck inside the machine.

Resolution: The blade side (also named flat surface) outward when installing the meat grinder. Otherwise, it may keep clogging if wrongly placed the cutting blade. Take it apart and double check and re-install it if you find the meat grinder doesn't work properly.

• Dark residue is coming out from the machine and it smells like burning.

Resolution: The dark residue is coming out because meat grinder is overloaded operated and dry grinding. Continuous overloaded operation will cause motor overheating and the smells like burning coming out. So please DO make sure you install the cutting blade correctly before you start to use. Correction installation should be the blade side (also named flat surface) outward.

• Hole in the plates not large enough.

Resolution : Sunmile Meat Grinder follows UL982 standard. The hold size is as requested to avoid finger hurt.

Answer:	It is not a turbo meat grinder, you place cut up pieces in and let it work. You cant stuff it or it will not work right. You can grind up a 2-3 lb sirloin steak in less than 5 min. I use a low setting on the kitchen aid mixer. From set up to clean up you can have sirloin burgers in less than 30 min

Answer:	Hi,not ideal for bones. as we know meat grinder attachment for stand mixer, is mainly designed for grinding lean meat, less fat, boneless, due to the limited power from stand mixer and small blade inside. Sometimes the meat will contain some small SOFT bones(not solid), like chicken breast, this Gvode grinder is able to grind but ensure the meat is cut into small strips or pieces, less than 25mm wide (diameter), bone less than 10mm thick and 15mm wide. For those hard bone like pork chops/loins or beef steak/ribs, surely cannot grind, not good to protect grinder and mixer machine itself.

Answer:	It doesn't have anything to slice meat or cheese. It is a grinder. Some people do use ground meat for jerky but I typically slice mine by hand.
Question:	What size is the sausage attachment? I need to know what size casings to buy
Answer:	It has 1" at the exit, and as it is tapered it has 1,5 at the meeting with the grinder, having a total length of 4,5. Always keep in mind that space is needed in this conical tube to load a reasonable amount of casings. Therefore, casing with 1 inch without much elasticity will limit the amount to be loaded, but this amount is enough to discharge 4 pounds of meat. Good luck!
